I thought the offside was “reset” if there was a deliberate touch from a defending player. Have they changed it again?

Delaney was offside before it got to that.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the snickometer in itself. All it does is confirm if there was a touch.

It’s the handball rule itself that needs reviewing.

What the f*ck is Anderson supposed to do there? The ball is hammered at him from about a yard away.

He's supposed to 128 Days his arm, but within picoseconds.

If keepers have to stay rooted firmly to their line on penalties daft run ups should also be stopped. Looked like he came to a complete stop there.

Got to agree. It gives the advantage to the penalty taker.

Last week you were celebrating the handball rule and VAR for producing 'objective' and therefore preferable decisions. Not sure why you've changed your tune now.

I’m not convinced that should be a penalty.   Denmark have every right to be furious here.

I suspect if Unkel says it a penalty. Its a penalty.

That's not to say the rules shouldn't be changed but it looks like the rules were applied correctly.

Blocking a pass or a block doesn't count as deliberate.

They messed up the initial wording of the rule and have issued "guidance" without changing the words
