You can only beat what is put in front of you, but you're right.

It was nice to get a victory, and beats knocking about with the seaside league teams in the League Cup, but both Brann and Hibs are going to be a notable upgrade.

What did I tell ye?!

Hibs have to be strong contenders for relegation. Wonder why they haven't opened yon £6m warchest yet...?

I've only caught the second half, and apparently they weren't as much of a mess as they have been this half, but yeah... I expected much more of a challenge from them.

Just now, Arch Stanton said:

"Can I being in a plastic bottle of water?"

"NAW".

"How about a load of metal tubing so we can erect our banner!"

"That's no problem".

FT 3-0
Regulation win over bottom six feeders in the end, complete domination in the second half and top of the league.
David Gray will need more than hospital food after that, he'll be emptied by Christmas and the Hibee merry go round will keep spinning.
We scored three goals, should have scored more. Idowu hitting the post after cutting in on his left foot after earlier opening the scoring after cutting in on his right. He looks brilliant.
Goals two and three were just as good, two fantastic assists by James Scott and those finishes were sweet as cake by the Oisin, Smyth.
Back to the European stuff for us now, into the SK Brann game in Paisley on Thursday full of confidence. I think we could win that one too.

That was a total schooling in the second half.

I expected the old 'Scottish club suffers a European hangover' trope and definitely expected it after first 45. As soon as the first goal went in we looked a totally different prospect altogether.

What a time to support us.
