Too many of our players had their heads thinking about the bigger game on Thursday. That Miovski bloke was on for about 4 minutes and done absolutely nothing. He did however help them to about 8th place last season, so there must be something about him. In all seriousness though. Aberdeen were pretty good. We were poor. Balcombe was poor for the goal but he had 3 unmarked red shirts in font of him while a line a blue shirts beyond that watched the ball. Criminal. For the second goal Fraser looks to see where McGrath is - in acres of space - but stays where he is - doesn't go to close him down. And the 3rd was similar poor marking. Besides that most of our defensive passing was side ways and pass backs to Gogic who throws a high aimless ball forward. The rest of the team were not up to much but the poor marking and lack of urgency were too evident - hardly a decent forward pass throughout the game. And we’d be kidding ourselves to think that with a relatively small - and injury depleted squad - we can play in a game like we did on Thursday and for it not to have an impact coming up against a team with 6 days rest.
