Well done for scoring a couple of decent goals today but don't start thinking you haven't spent three years kicking f**k out of everything sometimes as well. I don’t buy into the ‘everything wrong with Scottish football’ chat, but there was clearly a brief to nullify counter attacks for st Mirren and I’d be amazed if chucking in fouls at tactical times wasn’t a part of that. I don’t have an issue with it, it worked for long spells in the first half as I said at half time. I suspect that’s what Robinson is getting at when he says you controlled it, in the sense that he felt he had us clamped for spells. It’s still a nonsense though, if that’s your game plan and you concede 3 goals without posing much threat at the other end then you need to take it in the chin.

Aberdeen took their chances (3) , we didn't take ours bar one. Today's result won't define either club's season, so I'm pretty much at ease with it. Enjoy your night. Coventry Saint
I will say this: as a fan of an in-play card bet, I do love a ref who dishes out very blatant final warnings to players.
DrewDon
The referee was moving around like he had shit himself, which I wouldn't rule out on the basis of his performance.

Matthew McDiarmid was incredible for it for a while but he's wound it in a little. I actually went through a phase of looking out for games he was reffing and watching the streams... He was so over the top with his massive 'last chance' sweeps of the arm.

Thenorthernlight
59 minutes ago, Don exotic said: This was a good example of a game demonstrating what holdsback Scottish football. St Mirren repeatedly fouling to win the ball, then diving to the deck with any contact the other way and the ref happy to play along. Maybe by controlling the game he means trying to limit the playing of any football, as much as possible. They certainly didn’t try and play themselves. Aye, Grant Irvine was a special brand of SFA shite. Accountable to no-one though
