Aberdeen v Kilmarnock

They were still putting the milk in their coffee in the first ten seconds last time.

That moment (clear red card for me) really could’ve changed our season. Our form coming to Pittodrie was pretty patchy at best and you would have to assume playing with 10 men for 89 mins + would’ve led to another defeat.

Instead we win the game and didn’t lose a league game against a non-old firm again until the disaster against St J a couple of weeks ago.

Easy to be salty about that but these things happen. Ultimately we were dreadful and you held us at arms length then picked your moment. I don’t attribute your success after that to VAR missing an elbow.

I'm probably not alone in expecting a pretty stuffy 90+ minutes at Pittodrie this afternoon.

The onus is all on Aberdeen to take the initiative, and with the European game coming up Killie are totally justified to pack the midfield, sit in, and look to catch us on the counter if we over-commit.

It's the kind of situation where having Clarkson available would have been highly desirable.

Thought we looked a bit ropey last week but have the feeling we’ll bounce back a bit and put in a better performance this week.

Hopefully the schedule is too much for Kilmarnock’s squad. Is Findlay suspended for this?

Not sure Topi will start (I think he should)and don’t know if Nisbett will get on. Expect 0 shots on target in the first half and predict a late winner from an unexpected source.

Thought we were really good for the most part in that half. The off the ball work has been good and shinnie brilliant again. Being hyper critical I’d say we could’ve created more chances but can’t complain.

Donnelly fairly lucky not to have been booked.
