Granny Danger
I remember a game at Tynecastle about 20 years ago where we played so badly that when we won a throw-in in an advanced area there was an ironic cheer from the travelling support. Anyway this is a new team in a new age and past results are meaningless. Doesn’t mean we will win but if we lose it will be because we’re not good enough on the day.

Boyce also has a groin issue I think so not sure if even he'll be available. If both are out It'll likely be Vargas through the middle on his own which I'm not sure about. Some are saying he trained yesterday so I'm expecting him to start. I'd go with Vargas up front and Spittal behind if not.

DC92
I'm pretty happy with the line-up from middle to front. I appreciate Taylor must be injured but there's still too much mucking about with the defence. Oyegoke slotting in and Kingsley sliding over in place of Halkett would have given us more balance and continuity.

I'm not as down on Halkett as a lot of folk so quite happy to see him get game time as he's clearly a very good defender when fit. Kingsley at RB I just can't get on board with, a poor decision. Front 3 looks decent so let's get v them on the ball as often as possible
johnnydun
Ooft. That Naismith interview on Sportsound. Basically blaming Scottish fan mentality for getting on his back. "They weren't complaining when we finished 3rd."

Sadly as it's BBC Scotland, I mistook his accent and assumed it was Bonnar and I am getting irrationally angry whenever he speaks

Mark Connolly
I can’t believe I have to say this, but we should probably try to stop missing sitters in the opening minutes of matches
Granny Danger
Would be nice if we could keep possession for more than 15 seconds.

Aladdin
Not a great first half. Both sides looking like they can't buy a goal.
Granny Danger
Frustrating first half. Even when we created chances we could make nothing of them. Only saving grace is that Hearts are not any better.
Gibby82
Can understand why he brought on Sevelj for Holt to keep that protection for the back three but wouldn't mind seeing Docherty on, see if we can get a hold of the ball for a bit. Too many wasted passes. Hearts lacking in confidence and the home crowd restless, if we could nick a goal would be interesting to see how they react.
