The KVV/ Europa failures derby Saints v Killie 14/09/24

Recommended Posts

Welcome Derek McInnes to the SMISA, please leave your hex over us at the door.

Looking forward to this one, 2 evenly matched teams last season and now both have had time to recover from the Europa ties it should be entertaining.

3-1 saints, MacPherson (4)

If KVV is in the squad I will be betting him to score anytime.

There was never anything really that confirmed there was an issue between KVV and McInnes but I could see him scoring and, if it’s an equalizer/winner, I can see him heading for our dug out. My own view is that there was some kind of problem between the two.

I doubt that very much.

How much did St Mirren pay to get KVV's services for the season?

That's the question you're supposed to ask, isn't it?

Story is, that he earned so much in his short time at Killie that he’s doing it as a freebie. Just wanted to be back home with his family.

I heard that Killie were still paying his wages.

He earned what his parent club pay him, same as he'll earn at St Mirren.

Never did Mark Yardley any harm...

TBF he spent most of his career in the 2nd tier of Scottish football, not trying to get in a team that finished 4th in the top flight comfortably.

Even then, he wasn't exactly prolific from memory!

Pissing rain and high winds not a good day for football SMISA stadium is a bit of a swirling wind tunnel. Still should be a good atmosphere and goals from both teams.

It's a bold man that puts any faith in a Scottish weather forecast 4 days in advance.

A long range weather forecast should be about 4 hours!

Valid point mate. I worked at sea for over 25 years so use marine weather reports which tend to be more reliable.
