booitsme7
If the super over was tied the team with the most number of boundaries combined from the main match and the Super Over is the winner.
wulliemc
A great t20 series. If they played it next week it could easily have been a 2- 1 win for Pakistan. Fine margins

Fuctifano
It was a poor one, however the Kiwis didn't help themselves by losing the plot and bowling filth thereafter. I'm still sticking with the bowl out as tie breaker, super over probably is fairer, the cricket equivalent of extra time, but penalties are more exciting than extra time. Witness Pakistan's international class bowlers going none out of 3 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfDtOVVox_0

Fuctifano
That's about the best draw Scotland could have had.We must be due a win vs Afghan and Zimbabwe are a far better team to play against in Asia compared to Bangladesh.
die hard doonhamer
Yep, got to be happy with that. Decent chance of getting through that group.
Bully Wee Villa
Surely get our first World Cup win in that group? I fancy the winner of us v Afghanistan to win it.
Fuctifano
Zimbabwe aren't great but they're still a better team than us, although I'm basing this on ODI rather than T20. We've definitely got a shot at beating them though.
peasy23
Been watching some ofvthe Aussies v Windies the last couple of nights. Sad to see how poor the Windies are at the moment, having grown up watching a succession of genuinely terrifying pace bowlers they are utterly toothless with the ball in hand just now. Australia declared on 583-4 with Voges on 269no and Shaun Marsh scoring 182. They then got ripped into the Windies who were 207-6 at the close. Resumes at 11.30 tonight.
Fuctifano
Yeah, sad to see, and with any half decent WI player being keener than the average cricketer to tell the WICB to do one and become a T20 circuit mercenary it's hard to see how they'll have any sort of competitive test team in the future. Since 2003 they've won 2 series not against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe - England at home in 2009 and NZ at home in 2012. The Voges - S Marsh partnership of 449 was the 5th highest in Test history, still the best part of 200 short of the record set by Jaya and Sanga for Sri Lanka vs South Africa in 2006. In that match Nicky Boje ended up with figures of 0/221 in one innings while Murali took 10/172 across 2. Figures. Across the other side of the ditch, Sri Lanka making a bit more of a game of it in Dunedin, 197/4 in response to the Kiwis 431.
peasy23
A rare sight these days, but Australia have enforced the follow on after the Windies could only add 16 more runs for the loss of their last wickets with Shannon Gabriel unable to bat. They are currently 15-1 after Chandrika went for nought.
peasy23
21-2 now after Bravo is dismissed for the second time in under an hour.
Fuctifano
30/5. Not sure Scotland could do much worse with the bat- with the ball, definitely, but not so much with the bat.
peasy23
An absolute horsing as the Aussies win by an innings and 212 runs. Windies all out for 148 with Brathwaite scoring 95 of them. Gabriel looks as if he will be on the way home with the foot injury he suffered on day 1, he was a bit erratic anyway but he is their quickest bowler.
Swarley
They'd be as well sending the Windies home and playing a team of local 10 year olds. Might prove more of a challenge.
topcat(The most tip top)
Zimbabwe aren't great but they're still a better team than us, although I'm basing this on ODI rather than T20. We've definitely got a shot at beating them though. The great* thing about T20 is that the prospects for underdogs are better. We've got a shot at beating Zimbabwe but Hong Kong have a shot at beating us. * also the shit thing

No wonder, on that showing by the WIndies you certainly aren't going to plan on seeing Day 3 or 4.
