peasy23
Anderson got Hamza to edge one, he had looked very uncomfortable facing Stokes. 126-2 at the close, Maharaj makes it to the end as nightwatchman.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Yeah Hamza’s wicket was inevitable, looked very shakey. Malan on the other hand looked very assured. Great day for England with the bat, but still a bit of work to do with the ball, they’d have hoped for better considering SAs shite top order recently. England favourites still though.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Maharaj gone early to Jimmy LBW straight on to Jimmy. Faf in now with Malan.
peasy23
Maharaj gone early to Jimmy LBW straight on to Jimmy. Faf in now with Malan. For SA to have any chance of getting a result they need to be there until well after lunch.
Sir Tarmo Kink
For SA to have any chance of getting a result they need to be there until well after lunch. The way Jimmy is bowling England will win this. Malan, Faf and the next in line vd Dussen and de Kock will be key.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Du Plessis gone after stupidly trying to sweep Bess, and it goes straight to Denly at square leg. Big wicket.
Bully Wee Villa
I'm only following the score on Cricinfo. What time is lunch due?
Sir Tarmo Kink
I'm only following the score on Cricinfo. What time is lunch due?Should be a few more overs here, England have taken the new ball and Curran is first up.

topcat(The most tip top)
It's probably not going to be enough for South Africa but tis is turning into quite a test debut for Pieter Malan Edited January 7, 2020 by topcat(The most tip top)
Sir Tarmo Kink
It's probably not going to be enough for South Africa but tis is turning into quite a test debut for Pieter MalanHe looks excellent. How he and van der Duseen haven’t played Tests before is remarkable, even with the politics.170-4 at Lunch. Don’t think England have really done much wrong tbh, bowled well but SA are defending well.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Malan gone for 84, he edges Curran to Stokes. De Kock in now.
Sir Tarmo Kink
225/5 at Tea with van der Dussen and de Kock still in. Faced 105 and 91 balls respectively and are holding out well. Jimmy was off the field for the majority apparently struggling, and the bowling has dropped as a result. He’s coming back on now, whether he’ll be the same I don’t know. Final session and England need both of these guys out ASAP.
topcat(The most tip top)
It's probably not going to be enough for South Africa but tis is turning into quite a test debut for Pieter MalanIt turns out I’d jinxed himSo can I just state, for the record, that Quinton De Kock is one of the all time greats
Sir Tarmo Kink
50 for De Kock. He does look the more likely to get out though, with van der Dussen blocking everything.
