Finally we get an exciting match. India tried their hardest to chuck that but a deserved win in the end. Pandya was tremendous and Yadav had a dream debut. Really felt for the third umpire today. How can the on field umpires make a call from 60 yards away? Anyway, roll on Saturday.

That was a great game.

I'd just like to doubt down on my Root for Malan call. It should absolutely happen.

Can't see it. The England team looks pretty settled and will rightly be favourites to win the World Cup. Regardless of how Saturday's game goes though, India can take a lot of confidence from these 4 games so far. One of these two or New Zealand to win it.

I don't expect it to happen. It should though.

England fined 20% of their match fee for a slow over rate yesterday. The commentators mentioned a few times yesterday how long the match was taking. One of the selling points of T20 when it was launched was the whole match would be done and dusted in around 3 hours, yesterday's took around 4 hours.

It did take a long long time. Were India fined as well? Going by the BBC live text, England's bowling innings started at 13:30 and finished at 15:37, India's 15:44 to 17:46, so both were very slow compared to the expected hour and a half.

Don't think India have been sanctioned. I know they also factor in how long reviews take etc, but it's painfully slow from both sides, especially as there is always spin involved.
