peasy23
Afghanistan getting nowhere near this target, currently 85-5 after 14 overs.

Evans and Wheal in particular leaked far too many runs, and Leask turning his hand over isn’t really a great option against the better sides. Just don’t get it with Ali Evans - he’s never international standard. Bowls far too short and far too many wides. You’ve no chance in T20 when one of your bowlers is bowling 8 balls an over. Also Calum MacLeod is really starting to annoy me with all his fancy flicks and reverse sweeps. Just hit the bloody ball properly. I'd be dropping MacLeod for the next game and bringing Budge in. MacLeod is averaging 1.00 against deliveries in the stumps in this tournament, which is nothing short of embarrassing, tbh. Evans also has to drop out, as you say. If Davey isn't fit for the next game then I'd play Hamza instead of him.

Not sure Budge is good enough but he deserves a shot at MacLeod's expense.
peasy23
Some cracking ball striking from the Afghans tbf, but they never had a chance after losing wickets early.
peasy23
Ultimately, money talks, this will be what eventually change things at Yorkshire.

Player who made the remarks now being named on t'internet. Dam breaking, etc. Much better Scotland performance today after two complete shitshows. Sadly, the two hardest teams are yet to come.....

Guest Bob Mahelp
I think that Yorkshire have quite a long history of being prejudiced against 'non-Yorkshiremen' (i.e. they only see a Yorkshireman as a white anglo-Saxon called Higginbotham or something) do they not ? Geoffrey Boycott. Brian Close. Fred Trueman. All bigots to the core. No surprise that this has reared its head.
Benjamin_Nevis
This has been a clown-running-through-a-minefield performance by Yorkshire, and now we have Gary Ballance coming out and employing the "but he said nasty things to me too, but it was all banter" defence. Fucking hell.
peasy23
Australia gave Bangladesh a hiding this morning, bowling them out for 73, then reaching their target in just 38 balls to give their nett run rate a huge boost.
FuzzyBear
Great effort by Sri Lanka getting 189. Tough chase to avoid elimination for WI.
FuzzyBear
Looks a very tough chase from 10/2.
Scorge
Yorkshire in utter meltdown, and that's even before Rafiq going in front of a select committee with the benefit of parliamentary privilege. No amount of PR is going to massage this IMO.
die hard doonhamer
ECB have suspended Yorkshire's right to hold international and major fixtures, they've also suspended Gary Ballance from selection availablity for England (although that was unlikely, anyway). In Scotland news, Josh Davey has been ruled out of the last 2 games, which is a huge blow. Michael Jones has been brought in to the 15 as his replacement, with Chris Sole also unavailable to come in because of injury.
FuzzyBear
Some fielding from Sodhi. Stops a rocket shot with his forehead . Made some noise but thankfully he seems OK.
CaspianChris
I had a dream that Scotland a very nice win over India today, now if only that could happen. In reality I fear a far worse mauling than the one inflicted by Afghanistan
Fuctifano
I can't remember us playing India ever before in a t20, we drew them in 2007 but it was washed out. Can't remember too many ODIs either but sure there will be some.
FuzzyBear
Munsey throws his wicket away again. Think thats 3rd time he has done that after a decent start
Fuctifano
All I really wanted today was Kohli to get out for a first baller but he won't even get to bat, sadly.
