Benjamin_Nevis
This is extremely enjoyable. It is. Watching a hostile bowling onslaught is one of the best things about cricket.
Arthur Orton
See all these commentaters like Atherton, Hussain and Strauss, why are they not volunteering to help out instead of sitting there moaning about how shite they are now? Being a good player does not mean you're a decent coach. Plenty of footballing examples spring to mind. Arguably England's best bowling coach was Troy Cooley who had an absolutely terrible career as a bowler yet was an excellent coach.

peasy23
So much for the Aussies batting again before tea, it will be before lunch at this rate!
pandarilla
I stuck a few quid on Cook to be top scorer in this innings. When he went down I was gutted but there's 5 down and he's still the top scorer...with 7! The scorecard looks more like a mobile number. Mental stuff.
Swarley
England will be lucky to get 50 here Edited January 4, 2014 by Swarley

Benjamin_Nevis
Half the wickets down for 25. Will the Aussies enforce the follow on? An innings defeat is about the only thing missing from this catastrofuck from England. Although I think they'll opt to bat again and cane the English bowlers a bit for full-on mental and physical disintegration.
booitsme7
Having a look for England's lowest test score and I found that its 45 against Australia away back in 1887 at the Sydney ground. http://www.espncricinfo.com/the-ashes-2013-14/engine/match/62420.html

peasy23
Just turned on the BBC text WTF?????? Just the usual from England, their hopes now lie with one man playing his fourth ever test and the one at the other end on debut.
BucksburnDandy
Test Match Special given up the ghost and are more desperate that play continue into tomorrow so that Glenn McGrath's pink Charity fundraising day for cancer takes place. Boycott likely to be in cracking form today.

Ironic applause for an English batsman reaching double figures. They should've given him a standing ovation like he'd got a century.
