dorlomin
One of my favourite KP moments; Well the main reason to like Pietersen is he sent the starch collard old duffers at the ECB doolally. Even the switch hit induced a bout of agonizing about proper batting stance. Had he played for Oz or RSA they would have shrugged of his shite as just another ocker\ boer with a chip on his shoulder.
AberdeenBud
Swann "baffled". http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/feb/06/graeme-swann-baffles-kevin-pietersen-sacking-england
dorlomin
So apparently Pietersen was the absolute model professional on the tour, solid gold. Then at the end of the 4th test Cook called a confidential players only meeting where he asked everyone to be honest about the coach. Pietersen got confused and thought he wanted honest opinions instead of very oblique criticisms if you were not happy and pretty much stripped the paint of the walls with his opinions. Cook then shat it and when Flower found out him and Prior ratted him out. Flower went tonto and hence when they got back those three were adamant Pietersen was a bad influence and convinced the ECB to ban him sine die. Lawyers were brought in, confidentiality clauses were signed and Flower gets a nice job up the stairs at the ECB. Now the fans are spewing as the full story begins to leak out, not helped by no one telling Swannie what had transpired so he was all bemused about the whole thing having bogged off back home before it all kicked off. Id also put the chances at evens that we will see KP for England again. Edited February 6, 2014 by dorlomin

AberdeenBud
Id also put the chances at evens that we will see KP for England again. Think that would have to be a team without Cook and not sure that's going to happen anytime soon. Starting to look like AC definitely did a number on KP. Some of KP's cheerleaders, in the media and outside, are going to be incredibly quick to stick the knife in going forward from here if Cook and England are struggling. If you though Warne was hostile to Cook before, I'd imagine you ain't seen nothing yet.

expatowner
New Zealand beat India in the first test. Couple of bloopers fro the umpires that favored the home side. Thoroughly watchable though.
