Interesting reading. I hope he plays for England again, he's too good not to be playing test match cricket.

Nope. Regardless of any personality issues - the guy is obviously a massive throbber but it is / will be good to hear his side of things- he hasn't played anything other than one day / 20/20 cricket this season to no great level of success, and his test record in the last couple of years wasn't great. He's 34 with a dodgy knee. Time to move on.

Good series of questions here from the Sun cricket journo that we'd all like cleared up. The telegraph interview only really appears to answer 5 (Prior is a backstabbing c**t) and 6 (Moores is also a c**t).

A confirmed zing here, in reference to him not passing on tactical information about Andrew Stra...sorry, ‘Straussy’ to the South Africans, on the basis that there would be no point:

“There were retired second-string club cricketers in Bradford who would have known how to get Andrew Strauss out. Bowl around the wicket.”

Vaughn has essentially confirmed what Pietersen said about the "bowler's cabal" and Tremlett has implicitly backed KP - "glad he's had his say, people can make an informed decision about what happened now".

Somehow I'd missed the twitter parody account thing. If that really was being run from within the dressing room then that needs a serious investigation and heads should roll.

Bought KP's book. Was never a fan of him but I do think he was treated unfairly and it seems a few names are backing up his view of the bowling unit. Vaughan, Tremlett, now Ponting.

The truth is more likely some way in between the two camps versions, but it is clear there is a massive split in the camp and the ECB and Strauss/Cook as captains are coming out of this in poor light for letting it happen

Add Graham Smith to that list and Alec Stewart is claiming that he told the ECB two years ago that players inside the dressing room had access to the parody twitter account.

Whatever the full truth is its clear that the England setup is utterly shambolic.

They named Bresnan, Swann and Broad as three of the players who had access to the account on the radio this morning.

I see Ricky Ponting & Graeme Smith are both backing KP's version of events - mischief or the truth?

Its obvious just from watching on TV that the England bowling attack---Swann, Broad, Anderson especially---did not take kindly to fielding mistakes. No top bowler does, but England seemed particularly bad for it. I can totally believe that Ponting and Smith are telling the truth.
