peasy23
Stubborn last wicket stand took the Windies to 299 all out at,the tea interval. England's openers need to do something they haven't done for a while and bat out the last session imo, best chance to win is to try and get a decent lead and then skittle the Windies in the last 3 or 4 sessions.
die hard doonhamer
England 74-0 at stumps, Cook on 37 and Trott on 32. Solid start.
peasy23
England 74-0 at stumps, Cook on 37 and Trott on 32. Solid start. Yep, both players were needing that to give them a bit of confidence. Been a very good day for England, that spell that Broad had was his best for a long time. Good chance for England to crack on now and get a decent lead. Weather permitting!
booitsme7
Both England openers have now passed 50 and the score currently is 119-0. This is also the first century opening stand for England since Cook and Compton made one in the 1st test against New Zealand in March 2013.

peasy23
England going well, good recovery after losing a couple of quick wickets. Root hits a 6th straight 50, he is averaging 97 in the last 12 months with the bat. Even more remarkably, he is averaging 26 runs per wicket bowling!
HTG
Anyone else think Moeen Ali backed himself for a duck. Two ludicrous attempts at a single when none were required.
booitsme7
England have lost 2 wickets first Gary Ballance and now Moeen Ali. Ali was run out and Ballance was bowled by Samuels low slow high ball. 339-5 a lead of 40.

peasy23
England all out with a lead of 165. Bizarre last wicket run out as Jimmy Anderson didn't seem to even try and make his ground as he came back for a second run. Joe Root was fuming left high and dry on 182.

dorlomin
Its going to take one hell of a collapse for this not to be a draw.
jmothecat
Another case of England getting into a promising position and looking like they are letting it slip. Still time though. Wouldn't dismiss this match yet. Edit: Wicket! Start of the collapse? Edited April 24, 2015 by jmothecat
