Brathwaite is playing well, patient and no daft shots. Currently on 75, fully expecting he will get out now...

But yeah another draw looking likely. It would seem neither side has a good enough attack to get twenty wickets on these pitches.

Anderson's bowling and fielding brilliantly.

I don't think it's pushing it to say there's possibly never been another successful fast bowler who fields as well as he does. Fantastic athlete.

Yup. Boycott has nothing positive to say about modern fast bowling but even he says the same. That run out was a great example, and he nearly got another one there.

It's not long ago England were abject in the field. Now they are one of the best fielding sides.

Trott is not a long term opener for me and there is nobody else he would replace at the mo. Might be better for eng to put their efffort into a prospect than trott

I'd get Lyth in. They've taken half of Yorkshire with them after all.

Lyth now has to start the next test surely?.They can't wait until the NZ series to blood someone new and Trott definitely isn't the answer. If he gets back to his best then he can be an asset lower down the order but at the moment Ballance, Bell and Root are all far better options than he is.

Utterly ridiculous move to bring Trott back, typical of English cricket at the moment.

I can't see the point of dragging players over there and then not using them, they are learning nothing new in these games. The Windies are nowhere near the best sides and aren't even at full strength, so surely this was the time to try some new blood?

Agree with that. I might have been tempted to stick Rashid in too as a good leggie is generally > the barely better than average offies eng produce since giles n swann.

Ditto KP is wasting time and throwing away money on a lost crusade.
