Bearwithme
Pretty terrible Presume Woakes will be the one to drop out, his bowling is nothing threatening Cook Robson Root Bell Ballance Ali Prior Jordan Broad Plunkett Anderson The pace attack is reasonable but the batting seems iffy. Still, Sri Lanka post Murali and Vaas and with no Malinga aren't going to have a great bowling attack in English conditions so reckon England will win 1-0. Certainly not the most inspiring England line-up. Plunkett seems to be bowling some quick stuff and I also suspect he will play, so that would be interesting. I still think SL are worth a wee flutter.
Bearwithme
Lancashire vs Yorkshire looks an absolute cracker tonight. Amazing atmosphere, great cricket, big hitting and on a Friday night: thats what T20 cricket should be like. If nothing else it produced a really fantastic catch!

I would have thought Broad would be at eight unless Jordan really can handle the bat.
die hard doonhamer
Jordan's batting average is 14.9, just under 10 short of Broad's. I'd imagine it will be Broad 8 Jordan 9

Bully Wee Villa
Ian Bell wins England Cricketer of the Year, and what an excellent picture the BBC have chosen to illustrate the point. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/27771886
Bully Wee Villa
They've changed the picture. Twats. It was him in a Villa shirt before.

Fuctifano
I'm sure someone posted a question about this last year but Alfonso Thomas took 4 wickets in 4 balls in a county game today, which according to this list is only the 5th time it's happened in a first class match in England since the end of WW2. It's yet to happen in a test match, although it's certainly happened in an ODI, Malinga did it in the 2007 World Cup. And still lost.
Bully Wee Villa
I'm sure that list is wrong. I remember Shaun Pollock taking four wickets in four balls (and five wickets in an over, IIRC) on his Warwickshire debut.

Fuctifano
Was watching a wee bit earlier and saw the NZ spinner hit his first ball in test cricket for 6. Turns out he's the first player in history to do that.
Bully Wee Villa
That's insane. You'd have thought it would've happened a few times.

Savage Henry
This Moeen Ali character is fun to watch. Looks like a classy player - if he's got a few shots in his locker. England could have a strong middle order for the future.
