Savage Henry
That was a nonsense. There was no way that was going over the top.
jmothecat
A couple of centuries for Vijay and Pujara taking India to 253-1. Two good innings from the batsmen as England's bowling hasn't been bad of what I've seen. Edit: Though the pitch has helped.
peasy23
India finally get past half of England's first innings score, unless something miraculous happens this is looking like a draw. Good to see Jimmy Anderson in the field.
jmothecat
Pujara out. Hopefully this is a catalyst for a batting collapse...
jmothecat
Good pressure being put on Kohli. Broad and Stokes bowling very well.
Bearwithme
A couple of late wickets for England and India are 319-4 at COP....
jmothecat
It's interesting. The pitch is starting to turn but quite slowly. I think those two late wickets gives England a sniff of a chance. England bowled well, keep that up and if the pitch keeps turning then England could be in a pretty good place by the end of tomorrow.
NathanQP
I think they'll need to get Kohli out quickly tomorrow to stand a chance. Also I thought he batted at 3, is it different for test matches?
jmothecat
Thought Kohli batted well under pressure from Broad. Good battle between the two of them.

HibsFan
17 for 5 now, debutant Ferguson just been ran out by a direct hit.
Eednud
8/75 although Smith still in on 40. Mennie with 10 only other batsman to hit double figures.
Eednud
All out for 85, Smith 48 n.o. Philander took 5 for 21.
Savage Henry
All out for 85, Smith 48 n.o. Philander took 5 for 21. 85 all out is way more than 60 all out. They're improving.
peasy23
India all out for 488 so it's an early tea, pitch starting to crack. Could be a tough last session for England.
peasy23
England 40-0 after 11, early days I know but Hameed looks the real deal, another impressive start.

topcat(The most tip top)
England 40-0 after 11, early days I know but Hameed looks the real deal, another impressive start. At 31 and 36 not out he's currently got a test average of 67 Cook is only 46.87
Saigon Raider
He will inevitably have some ups and downs but Hameed looks like he could be an England opener for the next decade at least. Such a cool head and looks like he loves batting for a long time. England been superb in this match, even the bowlers dried the runs up really well. I reckon they will bat on well into tomorrow (hopefully...) and then give the spinners a session to see if they can make any inroads.

If all goes well then he should be about for the best part of 20 years. With Root there for another 10 at least it's very promising on that front.
