Reina
Santa brought me a turbo trainer. Tried it out today. Ended up doing 34 miles on it, according to my trip computer. Amazing what your favourite music blasting in your ears will do!
statts1976uk
Anyone in the Fife area looking for a new bike should pop down to Leslie Bike Shop as they have 40% off all bikes today only. I'm not allowed another one as I've bought three in the last year!!!

Sherrif John Bunnell
I picked up a Carerra Hellcat from Halfords for £225 the other day. It's my first ever 29er and it feels like riding a tractor after being on a hybrid for the last year. It's great being able to hit drains and potholes and barely feel a thing though. I also felt far more confident on the icy roads here this morning than ever did in similar conditions before. I'm hoping to head up to the forest near my house on Sunday and attempt some basic off road stuff.
Gnash
I got a Mekk Poggio 3.0 - 2015 model. It's as light as a (bike-sized) feather but I'm waiting for some dry roads before I try it out in anger. I'll need to get used to the SPD SL pedals too, as I have toe clips on my other bike.
Dindeleux
This year I'm trying to outdo my charity success from last year with a "penny a mile" sponsorship. Got about 30 sponsors so far and I'm aiming to hit at least 1000 miles but my real target is 2000 miles. Most I've ever completed in a year previously is 1600. If you fancy sponsoring me I'll get my just giving page up soon and if you are interested drop me a PM.
The Master
The Amazon bracket arrived and it works perfectly. A single screw holds it onto the rack bracket, with two cable ties giving it a bit more stability.
Unleash The Nade
Well, that went badly.Picked up my bike at 9.30am, had a crash at 10.00am and have broken my arm. :(Flew back early on the Wednesday and am waiting for a slot for an operation to fix it. Apparently it's an unusual break so the hospital want an upper limb specialist to do it. Unleash The Nade
Been really getting more into the mountain bike lately as much safer off road with the shite weather we've been having . Not doing anything like the distances I do on the road bike , but you get one hell of a work out and use much more of your upper body. Was out for almost 3 hours on Sunday and probably only did around 25 miles, but felt more knackered than I do after 70 miles on the road

Fifespud
I've been slagging guys off in the bike club for years about that It's a Mavic but almost identical to Morrisons logo Ha ha. I've a buddy who wears a lot of Mavic gear and I give him the same treatment. He tries to laugh it off but he hates it

I am on the mend and managed my first trip to the gym today, where I had very tentative goes on the bikes and cross trainer (legs only). The Master
I'm desperate for the weather to improve temperature-wise so I can get back on the bike. And before anyone tells me to "man-up" ( ), externally I can cope with the cold. Internally, I'm mildly asthmatic and cold air is a trigger - especially if I'm out of breath so inhaling a lot of it.
