Looks like Rory is heading towards another top 10 at a major where he has never even been close to contending.

It does. It’s really becoming a Rory thing. He was just awful in round one. Even today a very creditable 67 includes some big errors. Hugely frustrating stuff.

Came on to post the same, astonishing record. Definitely seems to get himself overly wound up as evidenced by his disastrous start at Portrush. Playing on a course he knew so well he should have been fairly relaxed, but looked so tense he could hardly hit the ball.

It's an absolute certainty. He'll need to play the remaining holes in probably 4 or 5 under which means all out attack and he's bound to get caught out at some point.
