Does anyone know how he got into the PGA? He's 90-something in the world now. Delighted he's in the field but just not sure how it happened. Invite, maybe? Top 100 in the OWGR get in.

Not according to the criteria on the wikipedia entry which state that it's only 2021 Ryder Cuppers who make it through being Top 100. That said, he appears to be saying he is in, so all good.

Here's the bit from the PGA website.

Wee-Bey
Not sure how long the course was playing. It's 7075 from the tips but I doubt they were playing those. There's tees at 6500 to 6700 so probably those ones. She shot a +9 front half and a +4 back 9 for 13 over so the dream is over for this year at least. Will still be the youngest ever if she manages to make it next year though.

bobbydazzler
what do people do when playing with angry golfers? played a tie yesterday and one of them were the angriest player ever, smashing driver off the ground, throwing ball into trees the lot.

Walk off the course. I understand that might affect your chances in a competition but just inform the club officials why you stopped playing. Not worth enduring 18 seconds in the company of twats like that never mind 18 holes. If this is how they behave in public think how they must react in their workplace or even worse in their own homes.

lichtie23
5&4 win in the 2nd round (I got 1st round bye) of our handicap singles yesterday. Played steady enough but was massively helped by my opponent being simply atrocious on the greens. Some of the worst putting Iv ever seen. Was 5up at the turn then pitched in from 40 yards out on 10 to go 6up and put the dagger into it.

I personally try to ignore it and have a little chuckle to myself whilst walking to my own ball.

Publicly laughing and pointing at them as they misbehave like toddlers is another approach.
Mark Connolly
Making them hole short putts that are getting ever closer to the hole is a good one as well. If they haven’t already exploded, that should put them over the top

Hand them 3 and 4 footers early doors then just look blankly back at them when they are standing over a 2 footer waiting for the nod. Nope.
