Migliozzi played the last 5 holes in 6 under so it can be done Paul +1 for the day through 9 so he looks out if it.
VictorOnopko
Meronk OB and double bogey on 14th - very much doubt he can get into a 2-way share of 2nd now. Bob's chances looking Edited September 3, 2023 by VictorOnopko

Mark Connolly
Meronk in the clubhouse at T10. There are already 2 folk ahead of him who have finished. That should be job done… Spoiler And it is https://x.com/tracker_robert/status/1698333314682179707?s=46&t=oW_XSNsP9nlNCWgpVqghhw

Ro Sham Bo
This is extremely harsh on Paul, but I would have Meronk, Nicolai Hojgaard and Aberg all ahead of him as wildcard picks.

TheGoon
I’m delighted for him, and I certainly think he’s worth having there - the rest of Europe do not seem as convinced.

I think Aberg might be playing his way in today so it's between Hojgaard and Meronk. Personally I'd probably go for Hojgaard.

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Delighted for Bob, over the years I’ve never followed the career of golfer so closely and rooted for them to succeed as much as I do with him. I sincerely hope this propels him.
peasy23
Been a disappointing weekend for Matt Fitzpatrick after being 12 under after 36 holes. Aberg is going to be hard to ignore for a captain's pick. Edited September 3, 2023 by peasy23
Ro Sham Bo
Aberg has to be in now. Bjork is another outsider after a very consistent season but I don't think he's done enough to push himself ahead of the other contenders.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
I wasn’t convinced about the Aberg pick before this weekend but I am now. Edited September 3, 2023 by Bring Back Paddy Flannery
peasy23
So that's Bob, Rory and Rahm the top 3 on the Euro points list, and Hovland, Hatton and Fitzpatrick on the world points. Fleetwood, Lowry and Rose are stick on picks. That leaves 3 from about half a dozen, but imo Straka and Aberg get 2 of them. Going to be 3 or 4 very disappointed players. VictorOnopko
Utterly fantastic to see Bob qualify on merit. Cannot wait to see him taking on the Americans. Hopefully LD will play him in the fourball ties as he makes a lot of birdies; his driving is maybe a bit wayward atm for foursomes, but we shall see. We have Rory, Rahm, Hovland, Hatton, Fleetwood, Fiztp, Bob, Lowry, Rose, Straka and Aberg (who'll definitely be in after winning) as folk have said - last spot is maybe between Meronk, R Hojgaard, and possibly Bjork, who is super-consistent and on form? Seen a few folk suggesting the other Fitzpatrick - lol. maybe next time... ETA: would love to see Aberg and Hovland paired together.
