Hopefully Bob can rack up a few birdies being out a bit earlier today.

Birdied the first but bogeyed 2nd.

Currently on two over and tied 87th

Pundits suggesting that the cut line might well end up at two over.

Rory firmly into reverse again.

Errant drive at first followed by a miraculous 2nd from the hay, backed up by a three putt for a bogey. Awful wedge shot after a perfect drive at 2nd and another bogey.

Rory in a nutshell.

He'll likely still shoot 66!

We are nearly at the " only Rory can win it from here" stage of Mcginley commentary

Would be handy if the cut was that, was getting a bit worried scoring would be high today and leave Bob with a bit of work to do.

Never bothered backing Morikawa after he putted like a 20 handicapper last week.

Be interesting to see how he putts over the weekend when the greens speed up as they surely will.

Fantastic player but his putting can be fragile as shown by last week.

"And with me in the commentary box, Paul McGinley"

Well that's one way to f**k with my lunch break.

To be fair to him, the first few minutes where he talked about Morikawa's iron play, and when he played with Payne Stewart in 93, was really good. He has since reverted to "Rory is only a birdie or two away"

I think he's the best ball striker in the game, by a decent distance too. Almost at Tiger levels.

You're right about the putting though, the course has been relatively soft the first 2 days, with plenty watering being done, be interesting to see if they just let it go over the weekend.

I'll be very surprised if they don't allow the course to really firm up over the weekend. Hope they do.
