The guy that writes down the scores on the board when everything is computerised so his work is pretty much pointless yet he gets to travel all over the world and just scribble on a bit of paper things that nobody ever sees. The marker writes the scores for the players benefit.
supermik
Yeah but apart from Chizzy, all the others can do their own scoring in their heads.

just me 2
Play local leagues and marking the board is a nightmare. There's boys that have played for 30/40 years and there's still fuckups, that's why you have a spotter.
palmy_cammy
Sickener for Kyle Anderson there missing 2 match darts. Great game.
Christophe
Some final. 3-3 with throw then Cross loses throw twice and immediately wins back each time. 5-5! -

Dysart
Great night of darts last night, good to see Hunrey taken down a peg or two. Glasgow this week for the finals of the World Series, but one player who won't be there is Phil T@yl*r. He made the effort to go to Australia and New Zealand to play in qualifiers for this, but, presumably because he won't have the crowd on his side, has chickened out of going to Braehead.

F_T_Y
This has been comfortable for Anderson. Wade has no scoring power to keep with him. An Ando v MVG final would be ideal.

The Naitch
Lot of big names didn't make it through this. Adrian Lewis lost again at the 1st stage - he's having an abysmal year.

The Naitch
Missed the afternoon session but very decent result for Durrant. Watching Montgomery get done 5-0 will be very pleasing.

The crowd showing themselves to be absolute scumbags. Montgomery is an absolute fud have a wee story about him. I travelled to Coventry a few years ago for a players championship event with a few of the scots boys (Bain, Stone Barilli). We were heading home on the Sunday when we got a phone call asking when we would be back. Montgomery was in a pub in Glasgow at a wee tournament giving it big licks that he is better than all the boys that moved to the PDC and they are basically pish. We got to the pub 5 mins before registration shuts and they fix the draw so Montgomery drew Barilli on the first round. It was 2-2 (first to 3) and Mark is on 161. Ross just fires in a 180 to leave D10 and is giving it the big one. Sure enough though T20, T17 and Bull. The shitest handshake you'll ever see and Ross straight away jacket on and left the pub without a word.
