djchapsticks
Anderson's got this now. Thought he'd blown it there. Brilliant bottle.

number one wasp
Really shouldn't have lost that from 3-1 up.
djchapsticks
Really shouldn't have lost that from 3-1 up. Van Gerwen found a completely new level in the 6th and 7th sets though.
Twinkle
Too close for comfort there for MVG. Excellent match
Davis Love III
Astonishing surge from van Gerwen. His timing with the setup shots was absolutely sublime. Even with a 3-1 advantage, that barrage was going to be difficult for anyone to repel. Perhaps the more frustrating element for Anderson will be the fact that he had darts to win all of the opening four sets. It could have potentially not even reached this stage, but all credit to MVG for raising his game when he had to.
number one wasp
Van Gerwen found a completely new level in the 6th and 7th sets though. Yep MVG was brilliant to come back but Gary bottled it in the end you have to feel.
Christophe
Van Gerwen found a completely new level in the 6th and 7th sets though. Bit of both, Anderson's scoring dropped too.
djchapsticks
Anderson with a bit of sour grapes, 'If that's the best he's got Lewis will canter it'.
Christophe
Anderson with a bit of sour grapes, 'If that's the best he's got Lewis will canter it'. Aye bit unfair that, did he watch Lewis' scoring today?
F_T_Y
Anderson did little wrong,Won the first set and put a bit of doubt in van gerwens head. The 66 finish to take it to a deciding set was beautiful. Then he hits a 174 to put pressure on andersons 129 which he puts into the big 3 and its game over. Some match.
number one wasp
Can't really blame his comments he's just been 3-1 up and gave the game away in the end when his scoring dropped.
djchapsticks
Aye bit unfair that, did he watch Lewis' scoring today? Especially given that Van Gerwen came away with an overall 99 or 100 average after an absolute shambles of a first set.

Marshmallo
I wonder if this is the primetime Saturday night Sky had in mind when the draw was made? I for one can't wait, top quality darts with no bullshit. -
Fraser Fyvie
Backed some Newton +1.5 at evens, think it's a very decent price.
