HTG
Bad luck big fella - just came up a wee bit short on the night but it's been a long struggle over a lot of years to get to this point and I hope he goes on and makes a right few quid from the game now.

F_T_Y
So what's the script with these two? PDC bound? I have seen norris at a few opens in Edinburgh,he seems your normal down to earth bloke.Think he will stay in the bdo for now. Wouldn't suprise me if bunting switched he has the title he wanted and has good sponsorship from target. He also makes a fair bit of money in the soft tip game.So if he switches i don't think it will be for the more money on offer.
HTG
They both showed a lot of humility - genuine too. Not that faux stuff Taylor comes away with. The Norris family have all made their way up to Scotland over the years and you can tell how content Alan is playing his darts in the boozer. Can't imagine Taylor ever thinking like that. Then again, Taylor is fuckin loaded!

Looks like Hearn is considering setting up a "challenger" tour for those who don't quite make it into the PDC main tour. If that is funded to something like the level of existing BDO tournaments it would open up a lot of prospects for some of these boys.

Superb performance throughout from Bunting. Played excellent in each match, and he is a fully deserving and rightful champion. It will be exciting to watch him progress in the years ahead, particularly in the Grand Slam later this year. It will also be enjoyable to see Norris there, who was a revelation to watch all week. Two good guys, and two fantastic players that made this Lakeside the best for some years now.

The Naitch
Co Stompe has gone back as well. Hope he gets his confidence back by playing on the BDO circuit. The list of entries for the Q-School are now online. Can't believe that Alan bleedin' Tabern gets his napper at the top of the page. I'll be stunned if he gets his tour card.
