The_Kincardine
That was a lovely try...and credit to Jones for making the yard and then the offload...and a kick and a half from Laidlaw.

Scotland start playing with confidence, and the SRU chooses to change the head coach. Vern Cotter's short period in charge is going to look like a high point in five years, once Scotland start knocking the ball on every three passes again.
Mark Connolly
Considering how good our back 3 players are under the high ball, it's a disgrace that Glasgow, Edinburgh and Scotland are all so poor at receiving restarts.
Mark Connolly
Bit early to go for the DG there. Also, I love John Barclay. A man that plays like that has no right to be that good looking.
The_Kincardine
Clever penalty from Hogg and, actually, decent refereeing.

I'm not convinced Watson is an open-side, though. He lacks pace and verve.

A bit lucky that the Argentinian made a stupid decision. If he had stayed on his feet, Hogg had been down long enough that he could have had a legitimate go at the ball. Scotland going up a gear here - a try now wins it.

Would rather have Hardie or Barclay at 7 though.

peasy23
It would have been nice to have had a scintillating win, but it was one of those matches where the result was far more important than the performance.
Savage Henry
Laidlaw was MOTM by a country mile. He's Scottish rugby's Stuart Broad. Just when folk are calling for anyone to replace him, he plays like this and makes himself undroppable.
Mark Connolly
That was very similar to the end of the tennis where Murray had a few chances to win it easily, blew it, then won anyway. Great win though - in the past we would have shat the bed after the Argentina try, and/or they would have gone the length after the missed penalty.
Allan Jacobsen
Just glad to win. Doesn't matter how it's done. I remember when we beat Ireland 12-8 in the Six Nations a few years ago and we were fucking awful that day - but we still somehow won. Greig Laidlaw has a glorious voice.

Mind you, I expected Barclay and the locks to put a bit of stick about and they didn't really.
