dogmc
Peter O'Mahoney is arguably the best defensive jumper in world rugby right now. I'd like to us use ritchie gray like that more. We used to throw him up at no 2 in line on opposition throw and even if he didn't nick it he forced opposition to hooker to change his throw. Was so disruptive.

dogmc
What Feckin England has turned up this week....Totally different from last week...Or Ireland playing well Tbf....England were pretty meh in every game but us. We looked like we hadn't done any prep at all sadly and went into total panic mode. They are capable of playing very good rugby tho.
Distant Doonhamer
Shame for England.
flyingscot
4th is a poor return for 3 wins, but England have been rank in every away game. We fucked up a great opportunity at Twickenham.
Mark Connolly
Had a horrible feeling England were going to go the length there. Delighted they didn't.
The_Kincardine
Ugly rugby but fair play to Ireland for doing to England what we couldn't. That's us 4th...poor return for a decent season for us.
jmothecat
One of the few times I actually want England to win. 4th in the six nations. Miserable.
dogmc
Bit conflicted on this. Glad England didn't get slam as it's been a really open tourney but don't think we deserve to be 4th. Very harsh for not finding bp v Ireland n shitting bed v England. Learning curve for players I guess. Eta need to transfer the clinical edge that Glasgow have had (when full 1st team is available) to Scotland games. Should be toonys main focus.
flyingscot
I'd have loved that if England went the length. To be honest I've found Irish fans insufferable recently. The 'final day grand slam destiny' pish before the start of the campaign pissed me off.

Guest
Table is harsh on us but our best championship since 2006. Plenty to be positive about. Keep the momentum going and next year, with in my opinion easier fixtures, could be something special.

Arguably it's harder for us next year.
Guest
Easier fixtures? Arguably it's harder for us next year. My reasoning, we should be confident against Italy home or away, should fancy out chances against anyone at Murrayfield and Cardiff should be a marginally easier game than Paris. Dublin still a very difficult place to go obviously but we've a better record there than at Twickenham with far worse teams than we have at the moment.

Don't we tend to do better when we have France and England at Murrayfield or am I two decades out of date?
GAD
OK, bit gutted we finished 4th, but you have to admit, Wales and England losing was funny. So, so funny. Wales with the 20 mins injury time loss - funny. England's date with destiny and grand slam, so, so funny. I laughed.

Last time we won the title (5 Nations but Italy games were played) was England and France away.

We tired England out last week, making them run up and down the park to score all those points. Well done the Oirish.
