ajwffc
Ireland 1st try should probably of been chopped off for double movement, they are almost constantly offside, only penalised once in the 1st half and constant backchat from the Irish players yet the Irish fans think the ref is not helping them
ajwffc
History has been made an Irish player has been penalised for being offside
peasy23
France have less than 5 minutes to get any points on the board, and just lose their own lineout 7 meters out due to a dreadful throw.

Savage Henry
Seymour, Hogg and Kinghorn all out for England. Shaun Longstaff and Cammy Murray called up as replacements.

I was just going to ask if anyone on here had experience of playing full back or on the wing. Can't see anything other than a gubbing unfortunately. We would have been up against it with a full squad, but now we are looking at 3rd and 4th choices in a few positions then it's going to be even harder.
honestly united
Jackson and Steyn called up. Steyns only played 2 games for Glasgow and could be on the bench against England!
Detournement
Is Lee Jones still injured? Steyn looked very ropey defensively. I think Hughes would play ahead of Steyn.

Can't remember the last time I saw him finish a game. Is Maitland still out? Jackson, Maitland and Graham wouldn't be the absolute end of the world I suppose. In fact, you'd probably go with Maitland at full back with McGuigan on the wing if possible. Edited March 11, 2019 by GAD
Detournement
Hughes was definitely in the squad at one point as was Lee Jones. McGuigan will start on the wing. I wouldn't mind seeing Hastings start at FB, I think he might be better suited to 15 than 10 anyway.

honestly united
https://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/rugby/17492974.is-steyn-selection-a-black-mark-for-scottish-rugby-administrators/ The Herald having a dig at the SRU over the Steyn call up and the whole SRU development team. Didn't realise it was quite that bad, but only 12 of the 60 / 70 odd scotland players in and around the squad come from outside the private school / borderers / developed abroad which makes pretty grim reading and just shows how far we still have to go development wise. There isn't much detail but would be interesting to see how this relates to numbers through the various levels of the fosroc academy structures as it looks like nothing much has changed in terms of getting average kids playing rugby (outside the borders)

Mark Connolly
Kevin Ferrie is a fuckwit. Surprised he didn't manage to shoehorn a mention of his stellar 3rd XI cricket career in there like he normally does.

Jamie Ritchie, George Horne, the Fagersons and Murray McCallum all offered rugby scholarships at Strathallan and McDowall and Hidalgo-Clyne at Merchiston. All been in and around the Scotland squad/team recently. Plus young pros like Cammy Fenton and Bruce Flockhart at Strathallan and Paddy Kelly at Merchiston.

topcat(The most tip top)
Criticising the the SRU's inabiity to grow the game in Scotland may seem harsh but when you consider that their direct opposition is the SFA it makes more sense
