Rugby Union

We really should have
Always thought it was going to be tough, but we should never have allowed ourselves to be in a position to be 28-7 behind, especially after scoring first. Defensively we were far too soft. SA have just been far too physical for Japan to run through as easily as they did against Scotland.

South Africa do not give a damn if they don't play good rugby, they just crush you under wave after wave of physicality. Very  similar to England's WC winning team.

This. Japan have been a breath of fresh air at RWC but they are not a better team than Scotland.

Hopefully they'll demolish Wales.

A repeat of their group match against the ABs could be really interesting.

Wales are also massive shitebags, it'll be an awful game no doubt with who can shitebag the most coming out on top.

Wales v SA has the potential to be an absolutely brutal 5-12 shitfest of a game.

It'll be kicking, mauls and drives for 90 minutes. Pish.

To be fair to South Africa they didn't have much choice but to shitfest it. Japan were miles offside for the whole game and Barnes had no intention of reffing it so they had to take him out the game. I thought it was a very impressive performance.

Barnes refusal to use the TMO for anything was baffling tbh. SA's yellow I would have thought was worth a look to confirm that he hadn't landed on his head, and the one where the Japanese player took out the Saffer in the air looked at least a yellow. If SA had cut out the handling errors they would have been well ahead much earlier in the game.

That means our group is the only one not to produce a semi finalist. Not only didn’t we get through but we also had the easiest group emoji28.png

The winners and runners up from our group played New Zealand and South Africa. I'm pretty sure Wales would be out right now if they'd played them. England would have maybe beaten one of them.
