honestly united Posted June 20, 2021 Share Posted June 20, 2021 I find it quite funny how the Lions PR machine are building up playing in SA as the biggest challenge the Lions can face, then the best PRO team in SA gets hammered by perrenial Pro14 whipping boys Treviso in the final of the Rainbow cup. Thats a team made up mostly of Italians who haven't won a game in the 6 nations for years, have beat the best pro team in SA. On one hand it is a warm-up game but on the other it is against a full international side.As far as I remember the Lions game in Cardiff v Argentina was classed as a full test. Just looked it up and Argentina didn't award caps at the time (they had 26 players missing!) but no mention of what the Lions did.
