come on shire
We kept themselves in the game especially when Russell thought he'd do his once per game moment of stupidity and get binned. We've come away with a bonus point too. However our discipline and penalty count's atrocious. They talk in the Scotland camp that this is the time to deliver but to win the 6N you need to win away apart from in Rome. You won't do that with getting carded and giving away penalties like sweets. Toony needs to read the riot act to the coaches and players on this issue. If we still have ambitions of winning the 6N this year then we need to win at home to France then a winning BP in Rome. Today was brainless... Edited February 12, 2022 by come on shire

I genuinely don't mind us paying it tight but can't seem to make our minds up if we are a tight team or an expansive team. We're a team that can't win in an away ground with fans in it

England will take them apart by 30 or 40.
John Lambies Doos
I think top half, probably 3rd is our target now. We will get nothing in Dublin
peasy23
I only saw the last 25 minutes on the bus home from the Petershill game, but it was very unimpressive stuff from Scotland even before Finn got binned. That whole passage of play stemmed from nobody being alert enough to get the rebounded penalty off the posts. I'm 50/50 on Finn's yellow. He might have caught it if the Welsh player wasn't in the way, but if you go one handed and don't collect it you'll get penalised 99 times out of 100. That aside, we gave away a shedload of avoidable penalties, and repeatedly dropping the ball in the tackle didn't help either.God knows what Biggar was thinking when he kicked the drop goal. Camped on your opponents line with an extra man? Should have been instantly pulled for an HIA. Can't believe the Welsh player wasn't yellow carded. I can't see any contact at all with the arm before the head, and there was zero attempt to wrap his left arm.

About time there was a pathway in and out.

Get Georgia in, hopefully a smaller nation coming in can see the game continue to grow there. Georgia are never going to be among the best at football (apart from against us) but have been a decent 2nd tier side, would be nice if they could have a similar progression as Argentina then Japan have
Donathan
I’d say a playoff against the winner of the tier 2 European championship. Loser gets relegated.
honestly united
Just getting round to ree-watching the game, 20 minutes in we are the better team at 11-6, but there are a few concerns. Russells aim with the kicks to touch is off, and we do seem slower about the park. Although Skinner is playing well (maybe should be in 2nd row inplace of Gilchrist, we are missing the extra pace in the back row (Graham getting turned over in the first minute or so an example). Fagerson is doing well, but Tuiplotu has hardly touched the ball so far.
honestly united
2nd part of the first half we have regressed / Wales have come into the game more. I would say its down to the pace as we are not getting the numbers to the breakdown and Wales are winning turnovers or penalties. I know hindsight is a wonderfull thing, but would we have been better starting with Sutherland and Fagerson at prop rather than the slower Nel and SChooeman? And Darge rather than Skinner? We are not controlling the breakdown like we did against England, which has not given platform to work with

We'd be in big bother ourselves if that happened so be careful what you wish for.
