GAD
Jackson playing at full back seems a strange one. I thought he ended up playing pretty well to be honest.

invergowrie arab
I have only just noticed Edinburgh are not called Edinburgh gunners any more.
ajwffc
I have only just noticed Edinburgh are not called Edinburgh gunners any more. They started off as Edinburgh Rugby in 1998. In 1998 they were renamed Edinburgh Reivers when the Border Reivers were 1st disbanded and merged with them (Glasgow became Glasgow Caledonians at the same time as they merged with Caledonia Reds). In 2005 Edinburgh Reivers was renamed Edinburgh Gunners (And Glasgow became Glasgow Warriors). In 2006 Edinburgh Gunners became Edinburgh Rugby after it was sold by the SRU and the term "The Gunners" is a trademark for Arsenal.
invergowrie arab
I played for the Caledonia Reds u 19s and still have the jersey somewhere. I won't got to a pro game until they are reinstated.
Northsea80
Another good effort from Macron with the Glasgow shirts for the new season. This year's Edinburgh shirts however are horrendous. Edited August 19, 2015 by Northsea80

dundee ton
Those are wild. I like the Glasgow ones though, good use of the Finnieston crane motif. Is that the Riverside museum outline on the away shirt?
invergowrie arab
Sponsor on Glasgow one looks ok unlike the appealing version on international jersey.

NorthernLights
My ticket for Scotland-Samoa arrived this week. Can't believe this isn't that far away now. This'll be the second World Cup match I've attended as I went to Scotland-South Africa back in 1999.
Savage Henry
Rory Hughes, eh? He might have had the best line in the Chipshopgate incident, when he said (while dressed as someone from Still Game) "f**k off you dirty rat" and threatened to stab a guy with a plastic fork.

I think it was the guy he threatened to stab that was dressed up as Victor from still game.

peasy23
Wasn't pretty, but Scotland scored a late try to win 16-12 in Italy, Henry Pyrgos going over in a nice move with Matt Scott.
Northsea80
I wonder if we'll see something resembling a starting/first choice XV next week at Murrayfield?
ajwffc
I think it will be manly made up of the players that are just on the outside of the final squad + any needing to prove fitness as the final 31 man squad is named a week on Monday.
ddfg
Wonder how quickly we will see Nayavaro in a Warriors top now that he hasn't made the Australian squad.
