Good post, we just haven't looked balanced at all this year despite some decent players, hopefully the new signings square that up and a better season awaits.

The spell around their yellow card was pivotal imo. It should have been a penalty try, but even at that the decision to throw a Hollywood pass out wide right away was madness. Should have gone through a couple of phases to tie up some defenders, or the right choice imo was to scrum instead of the quick tap. It was a pretty aimless attacking performance all round.

Anything Ioane has done positively this year (which hasn't been much) has been far outweighed by the penalties, yellow cards and tonight's red. Honestly don't know what the coaches see in him.

Ultimately, a different bounce of the ball from that kick through at the end could have given us a different result.

Tonight's the one that got away. The 1st half was cagey but the 2nd half was more open. 

The ref didn't have a clue but both teams discipline was shocking. Montpellier played like a team who're 11th in the French league. 

Glasgow's effort was there but discipline, organisation and leadership's simply not there. TJ Ioane gives away too many penalties and gets too many cards. On the Warriors FB forum there were people getting ticked off for saying he's a liability as it's classed as personal abuse... 

Once the Rainbow Cup's out the road then surely discipline will be a big part of pre season. If it goes tits up again then it'll be down to Danny Wilson and his coaches...

Anybody watch the Gloucester v La Rochelle game? Despite their loss Gloucester fans are raving about Chris Harris on Twitter, saying it was a defensive master class.

Have given up watching England v Scotland as there's only so much of a kicking I can bare without it feeling like an obligation. Switched to Munster v Toulouse, which is exactly the game it was expected to be.

Script torn up at Sandy Park as Lyon lead 17-5 after 17 minutes against Exeter, after they were 14-0 ahead after 10 minutes.

Exeter do their usual and grind their way into the lead, 26-20 at half time. Lyon had a man in the bin, but looked to be going in ahead until they had a penalty reversed against them for one of their forwards going head to head with a Chiefs player and pulling his hair.

Johnny Gray with a storming run helps set up another Chiefs score, 33-20 ahead now with 57 minutes played. He's just gone off and been replaced by Skinner, another yellow for Lyon.

I listened to that, an absolute joke and great hes bringing it up. Scotland lost years on the other teams when NH rugby went professional. Absolute amateur hour by the SRU and its literally taken us decades to catch up internationally and nowhere near at club level.
