Nearly three years into this new iteration and it's all very well not giving up many tries but discipline still regularly collapses, we never look like we have a way to break teams down with phase play and we can't execute our set piece often enough to get our strike moves going. All eminently coachable, little improvement in any of them, we try to turn every game into a 20-17 affair and hope it'll land our way. Should have gone out there with much more ambition, desire to dominate possession and confidence. The TMO is looking at that repeatedly. He's already decided that Russel should go, as if you're keeping a genuinely open mind you can't conclude that Russel has deliberately knocked that on. Imo that's the decision that's cost us the game. I don't think we lose if Finn Russel and the big number 12 are still on the pitch. Wales played very, very well and learned from a lot of their mistakes they made last time out. We had a few handling errors and weren't particularly patient in defence, which is unlike us.
