HibeeJibee
Gloucester and Exeter were the only club rugby grounds. Equally they'd 4 'national stadiums' in Wembley, Twickenham, Olympic Stadium and Millennium Stadium
DeeTillEhDeh
It's gatland though. He only has 3 wins v sh teams n two of those were with lions v a meh aussie team. Nz have rinsed him every time n he's never shown any inclination to try anything other than crash ball rugby. He'll pick the Welsh players as he has always done.
dogmc
He'll pick the Welsh players as he has always done. Has a thing for England boys too. He was clearly fuming today. When toony turned down chance to put the cones out gatland had a massive rant bout how scots weren't Co operating as much as other unions. He's painted into a corner now by some of our players....good

I worked beside a lad that was at high school with him at Wallace High in Stirling. He said he was a good guy not your typical rugby player.

I'd guess that sa might be outsiders due to next rwc going to sh in Japan. Since when has Japan been in the Southern Hempisphere? Ireland would be quite good although do the GAA grounds have the kind of hospitality facilties the sponsors and IRB Suits would want? At least all three possibilities are in a good time zone for us watching.

Allan Jacobsen
Ah, rugby. A place where you'll find people arguing about whether Japan is north or south of The Equator. How civilised.

GAD
Stephen Jones in the Times is taking it well. Here's what he had to say about Hogg in his "whose hot and whose not" section, as he appears to suggest he shouldn't even be on the Lions tour- "Stuart Hogg (Scotland)His delightful intrusions helped create two tries against Wales but his lack of power in the tackle caused Scotland problems. Can the Lions afford to take a player with heavy ability who is so light in weight?"

Granted he's not a huge hitter but his tackling has certainly improved, that analysis is about two years out of date.
Mark Connolly
Hardie is out for the rest of the 6N with a damaged MCL - http://thescotlandteam.com/2017/02/26/scotland-squad-update-7/ Tough on him, but not necesarily a bad thing for the team - Watson's physicality could be important against England, and a destructive 7 isn't exactly a necessity against Italy at the moment.

I've been to the grounds in Castlebar and Cork, and they both have one main stand and then a very basic, open terraced bowl for the rest of the stadium. If they're all like that then I'd imagine a lot of work would be needed.
Carl Cort's Hamstring
And congrats to Scotland yesterday, really impressive. It really does feel like something is happening with the team, rather than the previous false dawns.
