What Are You Drinking ?

Good choice sir. Love the stuff, very pleasant aftertaste. I was hooked on it after trying it in scarborough. There's a pub Down there that is owned by the brewery, all the products are from Samuel smiths, even the crisps.

Irn Bru always tastes better from the glass bottle for some reason. It has a more pure flavour. A bit like how tea somehow always tastes better from a china cup.

I think it's because residue from the plastic & aluminium can be absorbed into the drink much quicker than it does from glass.

Glass bottle is obviously the best (what else accompanies a fish supper so well?), can is still ok as long as it's cold but the plastic bottles are a last resort.

Aye pretty much all the stuff I've had from them has been decent. The oatmeal stout is good gear also.

Who sells it?

Only place that I've seen it is The Cave at Glasgow's Kelvinbridge. That said if you've got a small independent offie locally then they might be able to order you some. Lovely stuff. As I said it would be a great dessert beer. Could imagine it going very well with strawberry meringue.

*edit

My review of the brew in question here.
