Eednud
Now moving 3,791 kms across the country to Spinifex Brewery in Perth, Western Australia. This is an odd one as they’ve used roasted wattle seeds. It’s a nice colour and mid-strength at 3.5% but has a fake caramel flavour to it. Worth trying but not re-buying.
Eednud
3,919 kms back east to Marrickville, NSW for The Grifter Brewing Co’s Daisy Hazy Pale Ale. Should have gone back to Jindabyne.
mathematics
Really shouldn’t have bothered with the glass, given the rate at which it was supped.

Eednud
Today heading up to the Brisbane suburb of Northgate for an Aether Brewing Hop Skip and Jump India Pale Ale and at 6.4% after a few you’s be lucky to do jump never mind a triple one. Despite the poor head this is a really good beer.

centralTon
Omnipollo - Lingonberry Maple Pancake Lassi Gose. Strong fruit and maple flavour, but very sour, not unpleasant tho’.
centralTon
Barvaria brahaus in Glasgow. Going there a week on Saturday, hoping they still have Kostritzer Schwartzbier as one of their guest beers.

Eednud
Staying on the Pilsner trail it’s up to Currumbin Valley on the Queensland side of the QLD/NSW border. This is Currumbin Valley Brewing’s Ferny NZ Pilsner. It’s called Ferny because they’re using NZ hops (an experimental variety Hort 9909) and the Silver Fern is the NZ national symbol and there’s loads of giant tree ferns grow in the Currumbin Valley. This is possibly the best of the pilsners I’ve had this week and it’s 5.2%. Edited April 8, 2022 by Eednud
Eednud
Think this is the last of the pilsners. Poppin’ Pilsner from Mountain Culture Beer Co, Katoomba in the Blue Mountains NSW. This is one that is worth buying again.
