oneteaminglasgow
C.D.Nacional v Vitoria Guimarães. Finished 1-0 to Nacional, despite them clearly being an inferior side. Nice enough stadium and an alright attendance, although it turned out to be a massive pain in the arse to get to. If Guimarães had been able to produce anything approaching a decent final ball they’d have won comfortably. Nacional also make a huge deal about Cristiano Ronaldo having played there for a couple of years as a child...

AsimButtHitsASix
GF's Aussie pal was visiting and wanted tosee football and Dumbarton Castle. Obviously took her to Morton v Ross County but, seeing as we were in the castle next door, added Dumbarton v Forfar for five goals, peak Duffyball and a good Bovril. Was a pretty good game

Public transport may be the issue though. I had the same problem in Malaga last November.

Herman Hessian
top entertainment at worthing v lewes - red cards, goals from the half way line and a version of ‘the billy boys’ that finishes with “if you are a bognor fan surrender or you'll die” - and now a 25 yard free kick straight in to the top corner - fantastic stuff for a tenner...[emoji3] this was today's 'big sussex derby' 6th v 5th in the bostick isthmian premier (level seven - promotion to the conference south); lewes won 4-3 to go second in front of an impressive crowd of 1126; London Pride for £3.50 a pint, three stands made out of corrugated tin sheeting and a brilliant, competitive game with no 'simulation' or other fuckwittery - just great a full write-up by some bloke who can use a camera properly: https://thegrassrootstourist.com/2019/01/12/worthing-fc/ and see the tall gobshite stood up right at the back of the main stand - that's me, that is ! DiegoDiego
Portogruaro 1-0 Opitergina.Probably the best game I've seen all season. First versus third in Promozione, the sixth tier of Italian football (and there are actually about seven hundred clubs above this level).Porto have a very tidy set up, proper tickets, a decent range of merch and their streak sandwich is the best food I've ever eaten at a stadium. They had one season in Serie B a good few years back and retain a fanbase of around 700. A banner hangs on the main stand saying "President, let us dream, we want to go to Serie A." They even had a handful of ultras on their tiny curva. The stadium itself is a nice one incorporating a velodrome and a tiny basketball court sits behind one of the goals. It was end to end for 88 minutes with very little between the two teams but plenty of chances. Then Porto smashed a winner on the volley from a tight angle. Defeat was very harsh on Opitergina who actually had one of their best games of the season.
