It shows the German soldiers enjoyed killing and didn't think twice about shooting civilians. A machine gunner on a German bomber describes how, after bombing the main target in Britain, the pilots would fly low to let the gunners shoot at anything they wanted. One gunner described chasing a woman with a stream of bullets as she ran up a street pushing a pram.

f**k the Nazis and f**k this idea that the "ordinary" Germans didn't know. They knew and either didn't care or gave their approval.

I agree with the general point you've made in this post because there's still a lot of revisionism goes on with regard to the regular German Army units in particular, however, one thing that is not commonly understood is that the Luftwaffe was basically the recreational committee of the Nazi party, every bit as fanatical as the SS, indeed, you had to be a member of the party before they'd give you your wings, so it's absolutely fair to conclude that every single Luftwaffe pilot was a raving fascist b*****d, including the ones that later had their reputations laundered and hailed as "aces" so they could be integrated into NATO airforces in advisory roles.

There was a fair bit of "shoot the f**k out of anything that moves" went on in Allied airforces too, especially with the idiotic mid-war Fighter sweeps over France, but after D-Day it really ramped up, not only because of logistics, but because the Allies had total air supremacy, so there wasn't anything flying for fighter and fighter-bomber jocks to have a go at anyway.

Chuck Yeagar flew strafing missions in Italy during that war. He said at the time something along the lines of "We'd better win this thing or they'll hang us for what we've done".

Yeah. I remember reading a book years ago, the memoirs of a Jug pilot who flew in the southern european theatre towards the end of the war. One account of flying so low the prop struck an enemy combatant, another of arriving back trailing a washing line, complete with knickers and assorted undergarments still attached.

Well this wasn't utterly predictable or anything. No doubt if there's violence later, it'll be blamed on Hamas paying for "extremist" women and bairns to carry hand-made placards, and no the baldy, nazi-salute giving fuckwits dishing it out.

BBC describing them as anti-protesters - just fucking nonsense.

They are Nazi scum trying to exploit this for their fucking  bigoted ends.

This has been made into a TikTok so the random woman, caption and music are all annoying. However, the actual clip itself shows why folk are protesting.

The idea being that if enough public opposition can be registered then the government's position can be changed. UK diplomatic, military and economic support for what's being done in that above clip would then cease. That could in turn have a ripple effect across Europe to eventually isolate USA as the sole external guarantor of the violence in Gaza.

It's a long shot but that's the main reason folk protest. It's not a pointless display of self-expression, it has an objective aim.

Also worth mentioning that I've viewed the clips of the civilian corpses left strewn across the music festival grounds in Israel last month. I've read many of the victim testimonies who lost their family members in the Kibbutz massacres. The violence is all inter-connected. Pressuring for an end to what's being done in Gaza right now would help all common folk in that wider region. Anyone protesting this weekend is doing a good thing.

From the BBC website, how depraved have things become when "stop bombing babies" is such a radical statement as to be newsworthy:

Yup, resolutely sticking with "counter protestors" at every opportunity. Nearest they got on the website was one reference to "some of them from far right groups".

BBC can just f**k right off. Sick of the fact they seem to believe "impartiality" means never scrutinising anything, never calling out liars when they are blatantly lying, and this sort of shit where they treat hate groups and the fucking imbeciles who associate with them with a respect that they simply do not merit.

As soon as WW2 came to an end, the Cold War resumed.  The West needed ordinary Germans on their side to help them and similarly the Soviets needed their Germans to help too.  East Germans were taught that all the bad Germans had fled to the West since they wouldn't like the Worker's paradise in the East.

Basically "a big boy did it and ran away" but on a much bigger scale and both sides were at it.

I would not dispute that.  For ordinary Russians he was dangerous to know.

I was simply pointing out that in the Cold War both side made excuses for their new German Allies that had only recently been their enemies.

You've said almost the exact same thing verbatim on this site before. It was boring fact free shite then and it's boring fact free shite now.

It's used to describe racist bigots who use any excuse to inact violence on anyone different from them for having the audacity to breathe.
