flyingrodent
Funny how the camera was set up perfectly to film the warning knock then the bomb. Almost as if everybody knew exactly when it was going to happen. More on that - http://www.ibtimes.com/israel-roof-knocking-video-raises-question-warning-or-human-rights-violation-1628734 Basically the Israelis make a public announcement, leaflet an area, phone/text the occupants, give a warning "knock", then hit the place. What do Hamas do? Tell people to go onto the roof as human shields to protect Hamas members. What are the people on the roof going to do? Catch the fucking thing? Hamas are telling people not to move because Hamas want the death toll to be as high as possible. It's particularly strange that people get so upset about people who are being bombed filming and photographing their own bombardment. This has been the case since at least 2002 - the Israelis kill a lot of civilians, and then get very upset indeed when the Palestinians take pictures of the dead. The Israeli government appears to view this as basically a further act of terrorism, but I'd suggest that other people should probably take a more charitable view.
Silvio Tattiescone
The point is, the cameras were set up, the reporters neatly arrayed because they knew exactly which house was going to go bang, why it was going to go bang and when it was going to go bang. Anybody still in the house is either up for a Darwin Award or there because Hamas told them to be there.

Yes, how dare people take pictures of another state intentionally blowing up buildings in their neighbourhoods with high explosives. As you say, it's surely tantamount to terrorism.
Silvio Tattiescone
Perhaps, but it's not the indiscriminate mass slaughter by berserk Israeli-Nazis some would have us believe either is it?
flyingrodent
Perhaps, but it's not the indiscriminate mass slaughter by berserk Israeli-Nazis some would have us believe either is it? Nor is it the terror-targeted, precision bombing of evil itself that others are pimping. Although it's worth remembering that killing large numbers of civilians and then openly lying about how and why you did it is pretty immoral, regardless of whether some roasters on the internet say daft things about it.

The IDF have their own twitter feed showing where they have stopped the mission due to non-combatants being in or around the tsrget srea. Going by the casualties they probably have far more recordings of targets hit when civillians were still present.

What part of they've destroying people homes, leaving them homeless, in a part of the world where they have zero infrastructure to support themselves. To be honest, you're coming across as a bit of a fanny in this thread

Israel isn't targeting military targets. they have occupied Palestine.

They had pre-warning of one of the attacks - so?

ForeverSinging
Large areas of Gaza have no electricity just now because the lines were accidentally destroyed by a Hamas rocket. Engineers from the Israeli electricity board are refusing to go and fix the lines because Hamas are still firing rockets at the area. Oh great, Hamas are wankers, it's all okay then. You sound like one of the worst members of the old firm with your whataboutery. No one is saying Hamas are rosey but Israel are murdering children with the apparent support of the "international community".

I heard some plum on the radio defending the action as the beach had been targeted previously therfore the kids shouldn't have been there

somecallmetim
The "our ancestors lived here thousands of years ago" argument certainly opens up options for a whole lot of people around the planet.
