  1. I’d sooner spoon my eyes out and dip them in acid than attend this game.
  2. Absolutely no way Accies have a higher budget than us. Not a chance.
  3. The only Kilgour’s I know of are dyed in the wool Rovers fans from Kirkcaldy.
  4. He definitely looked ‘hungry’ the last time I saw him…
  5. Vaughan is signed for next season anyway, so your point is moot. For what it’s worth, the players who are already contracted for next season will be taking a massive portion of the wage bill, before Murray has even had a chance to bring anyone in. Gullan, Vaughan, Easton, Ross, Stanton will all be on very, very good wages - likely 4 figures per week. Murray is operating with his hands tied behind his back through very little fault of his own.
  6. Vaughan one isn’t a penalty. Connolly one absolutely is a penalty. Isma miss is shocking. Lang at fault for both goals. Gives the foul away for the first, then gets beat in the air. Second one he gets no where near enough on the clearing header and it gets bundled in the net.
  7. Lang has avoided criticism to a barely believable degree. His biggest strength - his aggression - is also his biggest weakness. He needs to sort it out and learn when to stand off and when to try to win the ball. He dives in near constantly and it costs us goals. See the free kick for the first goal last night, and the goal Connor Shields scored last time we played QP midweek at Ochilview as two perfect examples. He is a good defender, and I’d be happy for him to stay, but that side of his game needs fixed if we are to be a credible force at the top end of the Championship.
  8. Is this the first proper dead rubber game of the season? A win, loss or a draw means very little to either side. Neither team are going to lose 10/11 points to Arbroath over the next 6 games, neither are either of us going to overturn 8/9 points to thistle or ayr.
  9. Quite incredible to imagine even considering attending this fixture. Fair play to anyone going, super fan material.
  10. Didn’t think the Vaughan one was a penalty. I thought the Connolly one was cast iron. Could be wrong, will see in the highlights I guess.
  11. It’s obviously borderline irrelevant because a draw was no better than a defeat for us tonight, but that decision to not give a penalty for the foul on Connolly at the end was genuinely incredible. He’s about to cut it back to a queue of oncoming bodies, why on earth would be go down? Even more incredible is that both the referee and the linesman - who couldn’t have been more than 15 yards away with a clear line of sight - then completely missed Connolly getting up and decking the Hamilton player with a punch. A fucking incompetent oaf a referee.
  12. Hard to begin to describe how bad almost all of that was. So I won’t bother.
  13. Really enjoyed Owen Coyle getting it absolutely stinking from the main stand on his way down the tunnel. Horrible wee guy.
  14. Just seen a video on twitter of Vaughan’s goal - I’m not giving him enough credit. It’s a fantastic hit.
  15. This is disingenuous pish, to be honest. We were good today, we gave QP a bit of a hiding, especially in the second half. Gave them no time on the ball and we were better at the dirty side of the game throughout. Ferrie got his angles all wrong at the second goal, Vaughan should never be able to drill the ball across him from there. Akio should really have sealed the deal at the end, pretty straight forward lob finish. But the game was done by then. Beat Hamilton on Tuesday and it’s game on! Almost forgot, that was Scott Brown’s best performance of the season, in a long list of great performance. Love him, a fantastic centre midfielder. Delighted he’s signed for next season, an absolute dynamo in the middle of the park. Player of the season by a distance, for me.
  16. Thought it was definitely a penalty. Our players seemed very sure the foul on Easton was also a pen at the other end, which is why I think Connolly was booked in the aftermath of the Queens one - for making that point. We’ve been great at the dirty side of the game but feel like we won’t be able to maintain that for 90 minutes. Going to need another goal. unreal double save from MacDonald.
  17. Hopefully we can get something a bit more reflective of feeling to vote for man of the match. I always thought that they must’ve been deciding it based on about 20 votes.
  18. I mean, if we leave it to the police, who will police the police?!
  19. I wouldn’t believe anything that’s in the papers. They’re fumbling around in the dark desperate for a story.
  20. I don’t grudge Hamilton their win. They defended brilliantly and their goalie has made a couple of freakish saves that go in 99 times out of 100. This notion that we somehow didn’t play well in the second half is absolute pish, thought. It’s literally beyond some of our fans to understand that one team doesn’t have to be good and the other bad when one team wins. Both can play well in different ways and the result sometimes goes one way and it sometimes goes the other. It’s much easier and straight forward for idiots to think win = good and lose = bad.
