  1. Much as I really liked both players I’m not sure they’re the calibre of signings Rovers fans will be looking for.
  2. Thought Ayr got home crowds of 10,000 these days? We’ll happily take a share of that gate. Or is it Talbot?
  3. Three friendlies lined up now: Sat 29th June - Blyth Spartans (a) 3pm Tue 2nd July - BSC Glasgow, King George V Playing Fields, Renfrew, 7.30pm Sat 6th July - Coleraine (h) 3pm
  4. Hopefully Falkirk and Berwick away, Livi at home and Ayr scratch from the competition...

  8. Not faltered at all - expecting him to get a move up during the summer but will be absolutely delighted if he signs for us again.
  9. About 300 of them at Shielfield yesterday...
  10. First friendly announced - Blyth Spartans away on Saturday 29th June. A return to Croft Park where we also played a friendly in 2014.
  11. Ok, so we move on to another season in League One with at least 3 new clubs moving into the division. (Falkirk, Peterhead and either Clyde or Annan - Queens looking less likely) Faz has already released his list of those departing and those he has made offers to - we await their response. He has also started looking at potential recruits too. What do we have to look forward to, who do we want to keep and who do we want/need to bring in to strengthen the squad? Oh and we have a big birthday to look forward to!
  12. Two away comebacks for me... 3-0 down at East Fife in December - apparently dead and buried - but a Scouse penalty, Innes Cameron header and Chris McGowan’s free kick gave us a point. Scouse then got sent off, but for this we might actually have pushed for a late winner. Then 2-0 down at Raith in April, only to come back thanks to Kyle Turner, big Innes and Joao Victoria for our first league win at Starks since the 80s. If only we could do these things at home too!
  13. Exactly the kind of thing which has happened to numerous clubs in leagues at all levels, e.g. Rangers, Hearts, Livingston, Airdrie et al. My own club has also had financial problems. They don’t reflect well on the people in charge of the finances at the club would be my first observation.
  14. Did Wigtown not have to play in a tournament to ensure they retained membership?
