  1. Rangers v Stranraer from Boxing Day 2013 currently on Stranraer FC you tube channel as-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJxDbjElVV0
  2. Approximately 900 new seats. The old ones taken out that are still serviceable are being used to repair some of the remaining old ones. More info
  3. 16 signed players (now 17) 3 months before the season starts is more than we’ve had at this stage for many years! Probably another 2 or 3 to come in, but still opportunities for South boys when needed.
  4. Swifty on another podcast. Great stories from his time at Stranraer, including his famous impersonations of Stuart Millar! https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/down-the-divisions/id1506490084?i=1000485161894
  5. We’ve been spoiled for good keepers over the years. As Mattmc said recent good ones have been David Mitchell and Max Currie. In my 50 years of watching Stranraer I’ve also enjoyed watching Billy Whiteside, John Taylor, Barney Duffy, Stevie Ross and (briefly) Mike McGovern and Barry John Corr. Gary Matthews and Mark McGeown were decent too. Worst in recent years was Conor Brennan.
  6. 28 year old defender Sean Burns has signed. Most recently at Forfar and Stenny.
  7. If he stays injury-free he’ll be a decent signing for you guys. Missed much of our season having looked good.
  8. Current squad so far - in order of signing/re-signing: Ayrton Sonkur Jamie Walker Adam Cummins Jamie Hamill Grant Gallagher Thomas Orr Scott Robertson Kieran Millar Ruari Paton Cameron Elliott Connor McManus James Hilton Lewis McIntyre Darryl Duffy Greg Fleming Sean Burns Joao Victoria Andy Stirling Tom Devitt
  9. Been walking past mini- Murrayfield almost daily during lockdown and I don’t think any work has been done during that period. Might still be 12 weeks though!
  10. If they’re not willing there are teams in Lowland and Highland who would happily step up.
  11. Be further from teams in the SW like Stranraer, Wigtown, Newton Stewart and Girvan. Tweedmouth is quite a bit further north than us!
  12. Stephen Swift on It’s no easy - looking back at the Neil Watt and Stuart Millar era
  13. Some players will have already signed agreements with clubs for next season - and not necessarily with their current club. It’s fairly common.
