  1. It really doesn’t. The principle of the pyramid is that it is open to everyone, no matter their abilities. The more teams that come in, the more these apparently ‘no value’ teams will find their appropriate level. They may also become more capable teams if their new level means that they can attract better players.
  2. Suggest you read the previous 3K posts on this thread
  3. That’s why I said it’s heading that way. ‘Numerous’ clubs applying to join, players wanting to go senior....
  4. We're still waiting on you to convince us of the point of them
  5. Errr...the agenda of getting 'Colt' teams into a set-up where others don't want them....
  6. Perhaps because they've been doing it for decades?
  7. Good to see them playing football again - hope Wigtown keep things ticking over and return to the south league next season.
  8. Disagree. Have watched Scotland at both Hampden and Parkhead in recent times and Hampden was far better. Problem is, it depends where your seat is. The main stand at Hampden provides great views, the East and West understandably less so. For the games against England and Ireland I was in the Main Stand at Parkhead and ended up having to stand throughout both games.

  10. Well done to City on staying up - great effort!!
  11. Wouldn't imagine Spartans could accommodate their first team though as Edinburgh City will already be sharing next season.
  12. Stevie Farrell appointed at Stranraer today. Takes charge following Dumbarton's match against QOS tomorrow.
  13. Brian Reid becomes the first casualty of 2017....
  14. Possibly a first for Motherwell, but we've played against three this season - East Stirlingshire in the Betfred, Spartans in the Challenge Cup and East Kilbride in the Scottish!
  15. Scottish football has too many accountants - most of whom still manage to push full-time clubs into administration!
  16. Not quite as good as Docherty - very decent for us, not sure how he'll fare in the Championship.
  17. You've nailed it with the last part - that Dunfermline team was managed dreadfully. He had a great season with us prior to going to EEP, and another very decent season when he came back to us. He looked totally out of sorts at Dunfermline.
