We almost definitely wont be finishing third now, but we can console ourselves by having the best looking football manager in Scotland.
That's what it's really all about.
Eva the Hearts women's team manager.

Nice big dose of medicine for Roy McGregor to swallow today.

St Mirren are making this Kilmarnock side look so much better than they actually are.

No more tickets available on Hearts website. (trying desperately to avoid talking about actual football)

How did that work out?

I never watched it, but the result is no surprise. We really need a win soon to turn the players confidence around. I'm not very hopeful.

Can't say I'm ever really pessimistic before we play Hibs.
Same today. There's no rational explanation for thinking Hearts will win, but when it comes to Hibs I just usually reckon we will.
I would normally be the same, but after getting beat 2-0 at home by St Mirren, my confidence in the players has taken a big hit.

I really don't know what to expect.
One team might click and it could end up 3-0 either way.
I'm really not very optimistic.

This is a big opportunity for us to go five points clear of Hearts before they play on Saturday.
Or one point behind by Saturday night.

You clearly don’t remember that well as the “glorious” Hearts weren’t even in the top league in seasons 77/78, 79/80, 81/82 and 82/83.
Traditional yo-yo club back then.

All things considered what an absolutely magnificent support we have.

The revisionism of some Hesrts fans regarding Snodgrass is hilarious
*beep beep* vehicle reversing
You'll struggle to find a Hearts fan that's disappointed at this news.
If we had the Snodgrass that we seen for the first few weeks I would be very disappointed at him leaving, but he's been very poor for a while now.

I still maintain that for whatever reason, Robbie has always had his haters who would never be pleased with him. Same when he was a player - great club servant, as soon as Ibby Tall appeared people wanted rid.
I also think he is a good manager.
However it was clear of late that something needed to change. Whether or not that was sacking him, I don't know.
For the sake of posterity and a future "I told you so", I worry we have made a decision we will regret like in his first spell
I was in the 'give him until the end of season' camp' and if he secures third spot then he should stay.
However I was well aware I was in a very small minority and I'm not surprised he has been booted. Hopefully we'll not be sheepishly knocking on his door a few seasons down the line again after long periods of mid table mediocrity.

Obviously options are severely limited for an interim role but not sure about Naismith. Obviously he ticks the pashun box but on the pitch he usually seemed to channel that into petulance/frustration rather than providing inspiration when things weren't going well.
I can't think what you mean.

Levein’s protege meeting with a similar ending as Hearts manager.
ZERO major trophies won.
ZERO impact in Europe.
Unfortunately the dodgy penalties and outrageous luck had to run out at some point.
Bring on their third relegation in a decade, please!
Just continued dominance over your pishy wee team.

Yes, we're going for Robinson now.

The frustration for Saints fans is that we really should have beaten them last time in Paisley and got a draw at previous game in Edinburgh.
That would have resulted in a 6 point swing between Hearts and ourselves.

I always associate Hearts fans with “I’m forever blowing doubles!!” after that lovely period in Scottish football history in May 1986.
I no longer blame St. Mirren for getting stuffed 5-0 at home by Celtic on the last day of the season. I don't think your players lay down to them like arse licking bitches at all, they were just much better than you. Counselling finally working for me.

It's all shite just now, but Hibs normally have a habit of cheering us all up.
Perhaps now that we've dropped to fourth and are doing the chasing, things might improve.

I'm not sure Hearts have quite reached the depths we're capable of. With Ross Stewart in goals we have a chance.
Hearts 0 - 2 St Mirren (Pitch invasion and general riotous behaviour, however the Hearts fans will be well behaved
)

The fact that you're only one point ahead of the worst Aberdeen side in history should mortify all Hearts fans.
I think the 2010 Aberdeen team when we humiliated you 5-0 was worse for you lot. That game sent you to the bottom of the league. This seasons 5-0 game just made you look really shite, especially when it was followed up by a 6-0 pumping by Hibs. At least this seasons Aberdeen team has avoided getting beat by Celtic 9-0 again.

Yes at least give us a chance, if we do somehow freakishly turn it around again, to rub it in their faces.
