  1. cheers, noticed this on Facebook, pity it won't be 'under the lights'
  2. Is there a provisional date for the Falkirk game yet? I know it’ll depend if tomorrow’s cup tie goes to a replay
  3. not managing to attend this one but has the feel of a must win game for the Mo, closer in points to 8th than 4th now although it's tight. Really need a win, dropping 4 points in the home games to Kelty and Edinburgh could well be what defines where we finish the season. By no means will this be an easy game or the Mo either. Need to stop giving away silly goals and tighten up down our right side, which just isn't strong enough without a natural right back.
  4. Never made it, be good to hear if anything interesting came up
  5. Mcallister does a lot of hard work in starting a build up, winning the ball in the area etc but is then not in the box when the ball arrives there. Be good if someone else could do the ‘donkey work’ and he’s then in the box to finish it off
  6. Decent game, I didn’t think there was overly much between the teams. Dunfermline took chances and we passed ours up, can’t afford to do that against the bigger teams in the league
  7. that sounds like where i was at the start of the season, road along to the ground was closed off by police after the game but still got a decent quick getaway from there
  8. I found plenty space on side streets just past the ground earlier in the season
  9. Had we gone 3-1 instead of missing the penalty I think we’d have won comfortably. Agree with poor game management. Wouldn’t have taken Rory off, he was winning everything and giving their defence a hard time. We are better suited for continuing to attack rather than trying to defend a lead
  10. So Rory blazed over the chance of a hat trick, who last got a hat trick for us?
  11. agree with that, and he's also a confidence player which he seemed to lack in since his return from St.Pats

  13. You can the black beads bounce up the right side of the line from a Montrose perspective
  14. Don’t think Montrose did near enough to get close to winning this, Webby missing a decent chance in first half and Lyons should probably have done better when through on the keeper in the second half. That said, Falkirk created plenty of chances and young Ross made a few decent saves, he should be happy with how he played. Lack of height never helped for the second goal. Badly missing a permanent right back. Thought Mcallister did a lot of running with little support, really missed CJ today. Lyons looks way short of confidence and Webby is a fair bit off his performance levels of previous seasons As has been said, ref was atrocious, for both teams. Let a lot of time wasting go, but would have been happy with that had it been us holding on to a lead
  15. Bit harsh. He made a decent enough save narrowing the angle for the first, couldn’t do anything with rebound. Second goal maybe yes, but everyone in the ground was expecting a freekick to be awarded before the shot
  16. he was dreadful for us in the fleeting appearances that he made, but he is more naturally a centre-half than a right back, so he may perform for Forfar if played in his natural position
  17. shows how far we've come if we are slightly disappointed with not finishing in the top 4 in a league that includes Dunfermline, Falkirk, Airdrie and QOS!
  18. Hutchy turned out to be a waste of a loan signing with injury problems, opportunity to find another right back for remainder of season. Cammy is a strange one. Will St.Johnstone actually play him or should we expect him back for remainder. Only 10 appearances short of his 100th for the club Would like to see the Ross County boys back. They never featured against Aberdeen, maybe they want to loan them out to Championship teams now?
  19. maybe, it will just be the one game after all
  20. dunno if we will be looking at at emergency loan for a 'keeper. I believe Lennox is still in Australia and I doubt SP will go with the young lad
  21. i was meaning the recent league match, but yes, that was cringeworthy as well
