Spent 2 hours last night replacing my fiance's cracked iphone screen with one that she ordered online. Firstly she ordered the wrong colour so it looks stupid and secondly I have never seen screws so small as the ones in an iphone. Took 2 hours but got it working - stress levels through the roof.

I keep getting a notification from Whatsapp on my phone saying "You may have new messages"
I then have to wait 5 minutes to find that I do have a message when I get my usual notification.
The people without in the 3rd world without phones have no idea how lucky they are.

South Park
in US TV
It's a classic episode. Other highlights include the European Fecal Standards and Measurements Institute.

Just a few days after Hibs were back promoted to the top flight, the Dingwall dive etc the Daily Records main story is -

I always enjoy The Big Interview. Some are fascinating interviews - really enjoyed his one with Gary Neville and how he tries to be a good pundit.

Who was the poster who thought he was a better footballer than others because he knew a lot of football trivia? Can vaguely remember arguing with him about Kaka (Kaka v Rooney thread I think) and he said he could "run rings around me" and said that he knew all the World Cup top scorers If I remember right all I said was that I hadn't seen Kaka have an excellent game at that point!

The best columnist around spills the beans on why he thinks he didn't get a job at Rangers..
"But the truth is, for whatever reason, I left the meeting feeling pretty sure that I wasn’t his cup of tea."
" I’ve seen a lot of people bringing up what went on all those years ago when Paul le Guen was the manager. To this day I’m still accused of undermining the guy. That’s absolute b******s and I’m sick to the back teeth of hearing it. I was working under a manager who accepted losing matches. If it’s a crime that I wasn't capable of accepting that then, yes, I’m guilty."
"There was a point when he asked me about my hopes and ambitions for the future and I looked him in the eye and told him the truth. One day I hope to be the manager of Rangers.....Did that cost me my chance of getting the job? I’ll probably never know the answer."
I wonder Barry if showing ambition was the reason or the fact you've been a massive failure as a manager so far. Tough one.

Had a whirl on Drop Zone tonight - it's incredibly stressful, totally breathless and brings some utter scenes. A load of fun.
Played my first few games of this recently and it's just great fun. The way the ball sometimes bounces as the ground disappears causes immense panic!
Played a 'triggering' game of Rocket League last night. 3 v 3 and one of my team mates decided he wanted to be on the other team making it 2 v 4. My other team mate was basically useless so it was 1 v 4. Lost 7-1.

Indeed. Tempted to sue Tesco for £13 million.

I was ID'd yesterday at Tesco and of course I didn't have any ID on me.
I'm 27.
For a lottery ticket.

A couple of us at work chatting about the fella on the United Airlines flight being dragged off the plane. One of the girls nearby overhears and pipes up with -
"It's a shocking story but have you guys seen any of the meh-mehs on Facebook?"
" - the what?"
"the meh-mehs!"
"spell it"

I was suprised that I was only one of a few that picked themup on that. He/she went on to say something like they hadn't been able to hand over his birthday card so far for that year.

Then, if Nishy gets a management job in a FC, Scotland this coming season, everything okay for me even though I have not asked anyone of my employees if I can take a week off in June when I come back to Japan. May be I lose my jobs and go to jobcentre after summer Everyone here says Nishy should go to jobcentre but I think not him. I may have to go...
Cowden lost but I had the best birthday today because my legend, Big Nishy gave me a birthday present!!! He gave me a home shirt, so I must put NISH for getting his autograph again. Big Nishy is the most kindest football player to his supporters
She's a big Nish fan.

I'd like to nominate Rie for this topic. Rie basically is obsessed with Colin Nish so travels around the forum supporting whichever team Colin ends up at. Was last seen posting in this topic that she started -

Who was the one that caused all the bother one a Pie and Bovril night out? Can vaguely remember the fallout afterwards. Something about drinking puddle water as well?

My first thought when I saw this thread was Kilt and the story that FF explains. Weirdly I met him once at the social club at Berwick and he seemed normal enough.
Didn't give me any chocolates though.

The Rockin' 1000 have just announced that they are going to be doing a gig at Val Verdy in July this year. There is no chance in hell I'll manage to get to it.
Outrageous that they won't take their 1000+ band members and do a tour of Aberdeenshire.

Not a horrendous article overall but I did like this line -
"Forfar’s plastic pitch might be easy on the eye but Messi and Ronaldo would have struggled to control a ball that bounced as high enough to scatter the seagulls as they glided overhead"

It looks like it's going to be a pub crawl along Rose Street. Thanks for all your suggestions!

Started watching Peep Show for the first time on Netflix. Had always meant to get round to watching it but never did. Glad I've waited to binge. Started a week and a half ago and I'm 5 episodes from the end. It's a good 25 min watch but then you'll get hit with the odd episode that makes the tears almost stream. Season 6 was absolutely excellent throughout.
Peep Show is fantastic to binge watch. So many great individual moments - posting a pizza slice by slice through a door, "Swan and Peado", the dead dog, his racist colleague etc.
My personal favourite scene (especially as a learner) was Mark trying to drive a car -
"Mark: "I can't find the biting point! I've lost the biting point!!!"
Jeremy: "Why are you indicating? Don't indicate! Just fucking go!"
Mark: "I need to alert other road users to my intentions!"

God sounds like your phone is taking the p.
Sounds pretty knackered - could just be the screen needing replaced? What sort of phone is it?
