  1. Why do you keep presenting your completely incorrect points of view as though they might be realistic possibilities?
  2. In other countries some broadcasters have been allowed into the stadium, but this isn't clear yet. They've shown that they're happy to commentate off a stream from Ibrox anyway, so there's a very good public health case for asking them to do so from all grounds now.
  3. The original vote determined that the points per game mechanism would be used for all four leagues and ended the three lower leagues. The Premiership clubs later unanimously agreed that their season couldn't be played out, which meant that the rules from the original vote applied.
  4. They probably mainly want the police defunded because of their penchant for going about murdering.
  5. They know what they're paying for. If they don't renew in 2021/22 then they won't get their discount (if a discount is needed).
  6. The results for the season stood for everyone. The SPFL clubs overwhelmingly voted for all 42 places to be decided on a points per game basis. They also overwhelmingly voted to cancel the play-offs this season.
  7. Motherwell and Killie have sold the ticket as being for 19 games - fans will get a pro-rated discount for next season's ticket for every game that is behind closed doors. Dundee United have a similar scheme I think.
  8. Spence did over the Rangers stuff (despite being lauded for it by some on here), and has now descended into some sort of alt-right police worshipper based on his Twitter.
  9. Him saying we thought we just needed a win was definitely seemed weird to me. The table going into the game was: England 4pts +2 Netherlands 4pts +2 Switzerland 1pt -2 Scotland 1pt -2 It was always going to come down to goal difference if we won, and we were always going to require a 4 or 5 goal swing over the Netherlands.
  10. Goal difference is completely irrelevant to this, it wasn't introduced until the 1971/72 season. There were no tie-break rules whatsoever until 1921/22 - before then any important positions were settled by a play-off. Therefore I wouldn't say this is a tainted title, but it is only half a title.
  11. League 2 was decided on average points per game, and Brechin did finish bottom. That doesn't take away from the fact that it's impossible to punish a team for not turning up to a match when they have no match to turn up for.
  12. The Highland and Lowland League clubs also have access to "SPFL money" through the Challenge Cup and League Cup.
  13. This is what Financial Fair Play aims to do.
  14. Under the SPFL rules, not voting is the same as voting no. That was a big part of the original saga with the Dundee vote.
  15. How can Brechin not appear in a match when they don't even know who their opponents are?
  16. The outcome of the upcoming court case should be that SPFL don't have to pay Hearts anything, but do have to pay for this.
  17. A fixture which was shown live by broadcasting giants "Bravo", no less.
  18. A dictatorship is a system where a single person or entity can force through changes against the will of the majority. The SPFL could be considered a dictatorship if resolutions like this one could pass on the basis of a small number of influential clubs supporting it, or by an executive decision by the board. Instead, the opposite is true, for a resolution to pass it requires a supermajority of the clubs. Of course, in this vote it wouldn't matter if it was simply majority rule, since the majority of the clubs saw through this tinpot proposal.
  19. It's literally the opposite of a dictatorship.
  20. Given that it was a secret ballot, how are you deciding which 26 clubs you're boycotting?
  21. I think they should have cut the Nations League back to a single match v each opponent - that would have saved them 3 matchdays for a start.
  22. As far as I'm aware, the adjustment in prize money from adding two extra top flight clubs was being funded by reducing the amounts for positions 1-12. I don't know the exact figures, but given that the uplift would have to be about 3% in total you'd expect that to be high five figure or low six figure sums per club per season.
