I love early season Wilson. MVP bound!
  5. Might just come down to Rooney/Ralston being given time off by their clubs and not getting tested versus someone who is allowed to join the squad and travel immediately. McGinn isn't someone who should be near the squad, but people would be going equally mental if no replacement got called up and we somehow lost SOD to injury.
  6. Don't really get the McGinn call up, can only assume that he might be double vaccinated or passes more criteria for covid availability than the others.
  7. If McPherson, Flynn or Erahaon are playing the majority of our games as starting central midfielders we're going to struggle this season. All are alright as rotation pieces, but none are someone you want as a starter.
  8. For all the talk of needing a winger, central midfield is surely the priority. Going to be no surprise that we'll be overrun in the middle of the park today.
  9. Yeah, I've had to travel to England (Manchester and Newcastle) then onto Scotland via hire car or train as Scotland doesn't recognise seafarers returning home as an exemption, all before I've had my first vaccine. Not been asked any questions about further travel with my passenger locator having my home address on it. Saying that I'm flying direct into Scotland this time, and will make do with ignoring isolation, as I've been stuck on a boat for 4 weeks.
  10. Standard offshore 12 hour shift for 4 weeks or however long I want to stay onboard for. I currently starting my third week of 1800-0600. Preference goes 1200-0000, 0600-1800, 1800-0600, then 0000-1200, which I'd only nominate to do if the time difference matches up with home.
  11. Normally get pre travel test results about 24 hours after. Places at the airport seem to be same day.
  12. Pretty much. Got asked if I had my letter, which I didn't as I'd rearranged twice due to being offshore, but didn't get asked for any form of confirmation. When I went yesterday morning it was busy, but no queue.
  13. The Flavourly stuff are decent standby or session stuff, normally decent value if you get them on sale.
  14. Game has passed far too many players bye, and Goodwin hasn't changed it in time. Some strike for the second time but reckon one would have been enough to put is away
  15. I'd be looking to take off Dennis for another midfielder. We're just not got up to speed in this half
  16. All tickets refunded, 4 for game against Croatia and 2 for the first knockout game. Wonder what the % per ticket category is, I went for the cheap ones for both games so not overly surprised to get refunded.
  17. £210 for the Scottish Government package of two. Think I was about £110 in Boots for a single one, but some of the private companies at the airport are around £90, lateral flow are cheaper. Fortunately the company I was working for paid for it. Even though I didn't require them when coming back.
  18. Didn't get stamped going through Paris, nor in Stockholm, but didn't got questioned about it by immigration on the vessel I joined, and they gave me a nice boat stamp. Reckon it'll happen more with more people travelling.
  19. The benefit is more leaning towards the company you are working for. Its a clear business relationship rather than looking like an employee without their needed benefits. But it means that if you mess something up, it'll end at company level rather than you being personally being liable. Professionally I wouldn't be able to get any work without the use of my Ltd company other than in Norway were I'd have to go into an umbrella for their tax.
  20. Set up the company yourself on companies House, think it was around £35 for the process compared to an accountant charging over £100. Worth doing as the liability ends with you being company director and doesn't pass onto you personally. Also umbrella companies are a total con. You could use something like quick books to run your payroll from the Ltd company, but it's worth speaking to an accountant who can maybe get you a deal on a license for one of them. They'll also tell you how to make yourself tax efficient and give you a rough idea of how much your company books and if needed self assessment will cost. You'll get lots of different 'advice' from different people with regards to what they claim off the company. And with accountants not being liable for their advice it can be quite murky but just be sensible and keep a record of every invoice and potential work expense. IR35 is another thing to look out for. I reckon I'm alright because I'm always fixed term and work for different companies throughout the year but through the same agent.
  21. Accies deserved the point. The second half was really poor and Accies committed enough forward. The defending for the freekick was awful. That last sub looks incredibly suspect from Goodwin.
  22. That defending was awful. Taking off Obika might backfire
  23. We really need to calm things down and get a hold of the ball. Accies looking a lot more positive, and bringing some decent pressure.
